Cayo Coco Rum Bar & Restaurant

Restaurant was not very accommodative. I wanted to order a meal that came with pasta. I asked if they could put the pasta to the side or on another dish and put sauce on the pasta. The waiter said they couldn’t do so because they were too busy with too many orders. I truly don’t think my request was a challenging request. But the waiter said they were too busy. Too busy to place the pasta separately?? I don’t think so. If they were so busy, why did we have no wait to get a table?
I’ll make it easy for such a busy restaurant and not go back again. Hope that helps.

Date night date night date night!! The food was awesome, the ambiance was cozy and personal, and the staff was on point! You'll drop a Benjamin on your date but it's worth the occasional splurge. Parking can be a nightmare if you come on a busy night, so give yourself some time before your reservation to find a parking space (Not sure if you HAVE to have one but I'd assume so) Definitely will be coming back, this one scored me some points with the Mrs! 🤭

Fantastic bar and restaurant in downtown, I am a lover of rum and rum drinks so this is really a favorite of mine. Definitely try their Mai Tai!

Had an amazing experience at Cayo Coco tonight. We were able to make a reservation, which was nice. The ambiance was fantastic. I enjoyed 3 drinks (espresso martini, banana painkiller and Guri Guri). All were absolutely delicious…. I would order them each again. To eat, we partook in an assortment of small plates. We ordered the empanadas, the cheese dip, fried okra and the corn bread with greens. We also really liked all of the food (the empanadas were the stand out…. We should have ordered two). The service was GREAT. I failed to get our servers name but he took care of us. Will visit again!!!

Cute rum spot with a limited food menu, but everything is fresh and tasted amazing! Good portions sizes, great drinks, nice staff. I loved the snapper ceviche and the pork chop dad got he loved! It’s not too noisy but the inside seating was limited due to reservations so we sat outside on the patio with no wait.

Dropped in for a late afternoon snack and found Cayo Coco comfortable cool and welcoming. The coco rum old fashioned was rich and delicious. Service was quick but not overwhelming.

The decor is nice and seating is comfortable with a combination of tables, chairs, sofas and coffee tables.

Fully recommend and I’ll definitely be going back.

You want a unique experience downtown amongst the tall buildings that will be a memorable moment in your life and make you want to go back and do it again? Cayo is that place. Amazing atmosphere, amazing staff, amazing extensive cocktail menu and crafting capabilities, and amazing unique island food that will blow you away. Cannot recommend it enough! You will not be disappointed by the entire experience. If you understand that it's not just about price and food but the entire experience from the time you walk in to the time you leave you will enjoy yourself and love every second.

I will say the drinks are great if you love rum which I do! They were delicious. Especially the Pina Colada whish isnt my normal go to. However, the food lacked flavor for the prices to be what they were. Overall, the vibe was nice. Our favorite was the empanadas. A great place for appetizers and drinks to start the evening off.
