Best acai bowl so far in Birmingham. The customer can choose a 10, 12, or 16oz bowl. Pictured is the 12oz Iron bowl. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. Nice balance of toppings and acai base. Staff/customer service was a plus! I look forward to returning.

I CHERRY-ISH YOU! I know I am not the only one who is thrilled that City Bowls opened a location in Downtown Birmingham. From what used to be Rush Bowls is now City Bowls located on 20th Street South. Right next door to Orange Theory. City Bowls has a decently sized menu: all kinds of açaí bowls, coffee and much more! They always say Location is very important and I think they did an amazing job when they found this space. Placing an açaí bowl establishment next door to a gym is a great idea. Normally when people exit the gym they want to eat something that is healthy and will fill them up. I ordered the OG bowl which came with strawberries, bananas, açaí of course and a drizzle of honey. It was amazing! As far as ambience is concerned, I miss the neon signs and the overall ascetic Rush Bowls had. I think what they have now is very plain and boring. It looks almost too corporate. Tropical Smoothie Cafe, even though it's a franchise has way more of a fun environment than City Bowls. Overall, the food is good, lots of options to choose from, service was fast and easy. Though the interior is a little too much on the boring/ bland side for me. Not sure if I will be back.

I always get the best, cleanest, speediest, and friendliest service at this location. I am SO elated to have a City Bowks downtown to quickly grab during lunch or for a pre-dinner snack. Prime location and the best quality acai bowls in the whole country.
