We have ordered many many times from this restaurant. There used to be a man there who made SURE that the food was cooked to your liking and it was always great. He must have quit, because a woman has taken over, whom I've seen, while I was sitting in the drive through line, be very confrontational with a customer who'd pulled into a parking space waiting and must've had a complaint too. She stormed out the door and went to his car with a receipt obviously perturbed. She walked back passed my car huffing and rolling her eyes. Then discussed the issue with the car sitting in front of me, still with anger all over her face. Sooo unprofessional!
Tonight my ex husband ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. The bun was coated with bbq sauce and almost squashed flat from being under other items. His fries looked raw and were drenched with oil. It was all over my hand as I handed them to him. Yuck!! We also ordered several other things, for three people in total. $63.93 worth of food.
I ordered a Hamburger steak plate, medium well, with gravy and extra onion, and mac and cheese and baked beans. The hamburger was SO SALTY, with only a few onions, that I couldn't keep the meat in my mouth. It actually burned my tongue with the amount of salt. I had to spit it out. The mac and cheese also looked disgusting!!
I called and that woman answered. I told her about his food and how salty mine was, and she interrupted me and said she would have to have the food back to make me another plate. I told her no, because I don't trust what they'll do. You can't go inside, so no clue how filthy it is, or what there health dept rating is.
I told her I wasn't coming back and she said ok and hung up. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! She could care less clearly, after the way she handled our order and that other man, that I saw myself.
Good luck to them staying open, and good luck to anyone who tries to get GOOD food from there. Especially since the man who cared about the quality of the food is no longer there. The last thing I'll say is BUYER BEWARE!!!

Oh my decided to stop by on 12/13/25 I ordered a rib plate with bake beans and that was almost $20 got to the window they were cussing and a young black guy was at the table sleep so when I got home I started eating the supposed to be potatoe salad it taste like cleaning chemicals as if they didn't clean out the dish be they used it the bake beans was awful and the little ribs was the size of a pop sickle stick I even had my babies to try it and they spit it out I've been running back and forth to the rest room for the past two hours highly do not recommen I will starve before I go back

Thank yall so much for caring for our family today in catering our memorial svc. You were Grammy's fave since the 80s and nothing else would do for the day. But yall went above and beyond, even brought an extra side- which you couldn't have known was Grammy's signature thanksgiving side dish, not sure how she figured out your recipe but she did. It was a sweet addition to the day. Beyond that, yall just have the best barbecue and we grab it everytime we are in town :)

Food is 👎🏾 I wouldn't feed their food to a homeless dog. How do you make BBQ nasty? Mac N Cheese tastes like it came out the box. Collards look and taste like turnips; mushy and salty. I suspect it came out the can do it's not freshly cooked greens. The BBQ was flat out salty. Drive thru only and it's a mess by itself. You'll tear up your car. Just awful all around but the service was good.

Im not a fan of their food my husband likes it but its terrible to me. But their customer service is good. You cant go inside. looks like they never opened back up after covid.
One of my absolute favorite BBQ places! Every time I visit my hometown of Birmingham I always stop by to get two, yes two of their loaded 1lb baked potatoes! I haven't really tried anything else because that's my favorite. Totally worth it!

The prices on the website are completely different than what they show in store. I ordered the rib basket from the appetizers. Online it was 9.99 got to the store and it was 19.99. If I would have known that I could have got a rib plate for cheaper and got sides!!
