Arrived at 7:30pm on a Saturday. We needed a reservation to be seated even though the place was almost empty. There are literally only 3 people working so you can imagine that it took entirely too long to receive things like drinks, hookah, and food once more people started showing up. The renovations and decor look cheap and nothing like the Atlanta locations. There was no DJ and instead just a playlist that was playing super outdated songs. The wait was so long that I just asked for all my food to go and didn’t even finish my hookah nor drink. We asked for our bill which came up to $182. They nickel and dimed us for some of the silliest stuff. Why am I paying for coal that should be included in the high hookah price? Why am I paying for my shrimp to be on the side when it’s literally in the same container as the pasta? To add insult to injury they had literally no bags for us to carry our food out so we just had to juggle our stuff on the way out. Once inside and looking at the food the lamb chops were butchered. This place really just needs to shut down and try again. This is sad that this is the offerings in Birmingham cause it comes off as so lazy and cheap. Would not recommend at all!

Came for Valentines Day and ordered the Seafood Plate with Salmon. And my wife had shrimp. It was cook perfect, wasn't dry, season just right. Huge piece of salmon as well. I should've taken a picture before. Came for Happy Hr. Very pleased.

Garbage bar who can't control their crowd! Patrons screaming in the street until after 2am acting like a bunch of maniacs. Fighting and screaming with no crowd control or door security....

Cru is a cool place for the younger crowd probably ages 21-25. Staff could be a lot more relaxed. Especially one of the male security guards. I don't think he likes others to have fun also the DJ played the same songs with no real variety or dance songs. Food is a bit pricey. A bottle of water and fries were $15. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. But I wouldn't go back.

The vibe is nice but they jam pack the place to the point it could be fatal if a crowd rushed happened, and the security guards pick and choose who they let in and give you sassy attitude when you ask about it, especially the little bald one.

Our server was awful and this is coming from someone who has worked in the service industry. The price for food is 100% not worth it. It's not good (atleast brunch wise - the normal food is good).bottomless mimosas are not bottomless and contrary to what the menu says its 45$ per person. You only get 3 carafes per person as well. beware!music and vibe is cool though

The new management has completely changed this Cru! They now serve food, the environment is welcoming and the people that work there are friendly and kind. The music is perfect! Absolutely get the lamb chops, and the sweet heat wings ??
