Dave's Pub is a very good place to go to for a wide variety of beers!!!! 18 on draft (which is the way I prefer to drink beer).

I just think it's a great place. And appreciate the test strips though I've no need for them it's just being a good human to other humans and so they have my business anytime I can get down there. Thank you Dave's pub. Your a life saver. More places should take notes

I was impressed by the bartenders. It is been a loooong time since I ran into bar staff that paid attention to each other and the customer. Despite the fact that the house was packed, it was easy to get service.

Spacious clean bar w outside seating. Stopped by for a couple coronal and a shot while walking downtown. Bartender was friendly but not intrusive...told me they have live music at 10 pm on some nights.

TAKE A PITCHER, IT WILL LAST LONGER! Needed to get out of the house as I was getting a little stir crazy just sitting in the house all day. Decided to take myself out one night to Dave's. I had seen it in passing many times and there always seem to be a lot of people both inside and outside. Located in the heart of five points south this little dive bar packs a big bargain. The bartenders are not your typical bartenders. In fact the majority of them are mixologists hiding behind an everyday divey style bar. Stopped in on a Monday night. It was busy but not too busy. I did not know what I wanted. But winded up just explaining to the bar tender the types of drinks I typically go for. Something fruity, vodka based.. etc. He was able to create something super delicious for me to enjoy. It was a pineapple daiquiri style drink, but it was not frozen. I had never had a daiquiri that was not frozen before, but man did I enjoy it. Everyone I came into contact with was supper nice and welcoming. There were a bunch of people outside with instruments too which was defiantly an interesting twist on the casual bar scene. I have now been to Dave's a total of (2) times this week and I have enjoyed both experiences.

Visiting from Atlanta I don’t know if they have live music every Saturday night but they did the while we were there and it was awesome! The band was great, the atmosphere was nice and the drinks were delicious.

This might be a cool place if the people who owned the place weren't there blacked out drunk all the time. I was in visiting and was so taken aback. Mortifying. Hope that it improves.

I came here to see Chad Fisher and Carrie wheat. There are tons of other very well-known artists. There's enough parking on Highland Avenue. There was no cover. The beer is warm but that doesn't bother me. They have a plastic water container where you can drink water. But it is not cold. It's kind of a dive but I like it. I met so many people there, a lot of musicians and artists. I think a lot of locals to that five points area
