This location is the worse in customer service! This store needs definitely good quality help or should be closed until better caring staff can be hired!! Staff out back smoking cigarettes and weed instead of doing their jobs!! Wait time is extremely way to long to eat, get an order to go or even pay at the front counter!
Honestly, everything was great especially the server. I gave it a 4 star overall because of the wait and lack of staff. Our server had the most pleasant attitude despite the fact that she was the ONLY server there and it was very busy. Once we were seated, it was still a bit of a wait for the food but again the server was attentive to all of us. I would imagine the kitchen was probably short staffed as well so whoever was back there cooking did an awesome job. I had breakfast food and I highly recommend the cinnamon roll pancakes!!?
Forgot to mention my waitress was very polite, attentive, patient, friendly and served with a beautiful smile. Food was also great. Thank you Capresha!
They don't serve food from the all day diner menu that is advertised. I wanted to order the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and they told me they can't make it. it is the same sandwich as the Nashville hot chicken sandwich just not tossed in hot sauce. been sitting for 45 minutes and still no food. highly disappointed.
This is the worst service I’ve ever received. I’ll never return to this restaurant.
Decent food. Maybe it was because it was Thanksgiving and we made everyone mad coming there to eat but when you are a truck driver your options are severely limited. But our waitress made everything so much better!!
Stopped in for a quick bite to eat for lunch, I had the brisket and swiss on toasted Texas toast with saturated mushrooms and onions with a side of french fries. This sandwich really hit the spot, it was really good. The server was very friendly and on point with refreshing the drinks.
Highly disappointed! For this to be the only Denny's in the local Birmingham area, you would expect better service all the way around. Our waiter was also the host, cashier and busboy. It took over an hour to get our food for a party of three, while the restaurant sat empty. And then only two meals came out, leaving my husband to wait another 10 minutes for his plate. The silverware was dirty and the water tasted like metal. Will be a long time before we return of ever!!!
I ordered a Philly Steak Omelet hash browns and toast. The eggs were rubbery. The hash browns were good. I never received my toast. My nephew ordered a burger with fries and fried cheese sticks. He ate nearly all of his and made no derogatory comments. I ate the steak, mushrooms and all the insides. I couldn't handle the eggs.
Parking: Plenty of parking (truck stop)
Need better service and good I Got sick after eating that food

Customer service was pretty nice. Has a real southern feel. Not necessarily the most spotless place but they're understaffed. Food came out fresh and tasty. They're Ranch is hope made so it can be hit or miss but 90% of the time it hits
The server must have been new because he was a little unpolished.. And despite their lack of menu choices which is horrible .the food came out it was delicious and it was smoking hot 2 thumbs up.
Very slow and disrespectful
Food was great, service was fabulous. Water... yuck! And the sweet tea was SUPER sweet. I had the eggs benedict... called Classic Benny "something". Family got the steak, chicken Alfredo, and double cheeseburger. Everyone was very happy. We all had to get a cheesecake, I got mine to go. ?
I gave 1 star only because I couldn't give a -10 stars. My husband and I met a friend that we haven't seen in 8 years at Denny's at 1pm Saturday 5-28-22 ,we stood waiting to be seated for 20 minutes. There were only two tables of 2 people each occupied, the rest of the tables were empty. There were 3 employees standing around talking. When they finally decided to seat us, they told us to be patient it was shift change. The only reason we didn't walk out before we were seated or during the next 25 minutes it took for the waiter to come get our drink order & the 15 minutes before we got our drinks and had our order taken & the 45 minutes to get our 3 Hamburgers and fries, was because we were enjoying catching up with our friend, after all we had 8 years of talking to do. When we finally got our food after 1hour & 45 minutes it was hot and tasted pretty good, but not worth the time we had to wait, after all there were still only 8 other customers in the restaurant the whole time we were there, with 4 employees out front standing around in a group the entire time we were there. One customer stood at the register to pay for his meal for over 20 minutes, before someone came to take his money. During this entire time he was standing there and we were waiting on service and our food, not once did any of Denny's employees say that they were sorry for our wait time or thank us for our patience or even have a great day and come back. This is the 2nd and absolutely the last time we will visit this Denny's.
