Sunday dinner was delicious, they had all the delicious sides and desserts were on point, I had a veggie plate with dressing, corn, yams and black eye peas, hubby had the baked chicken and dressing with yams. Everything was good goodttttt!!
This place is AWESOME. This is great home cooking. Portions are plenty. You rarely eat the whole plate. It says Soul food. I call I WONDERFUL this food. This is the kinda lunch that you will likely take a nap.

Got there 1hr before closing( tried calling, no answer) While waiting in a very long line after arrival I find out only two side options and 1 meat selection was available. If you’re getting low on items it would be respectfully if there was some was some way to update the customers who are standing in line on what’s left instead of waisting our time. Ended up getting just mac n cheese and collards. Both were not up to my expectations.
I drove 45 minutes to get the spaghetti and it was 10/10 highly recommend! Very healthy portions and the staff are great 👌🏽 I’ll definitely be back very soon

I was eating in this restaurant and realized the female server was smoking a cigarette inside of the men’s bathroom with the bathroom door cracked open, which was maybe 20 feet away from the dining area. As a result, I developed a sinus infection and an asthma flare that I’m still trying to recover from. I would not eat here again and do not recommend. For the price, the amount of food you get is not even worth it.

This is THE BEST soul food restaurant in Birmingham! It looks like a hole in the wall but the food is AMAZING! Everything, down to the sweet tea was PERFECT. Full of flavor, food was hot! I will definitely go back and I suggest y'all go try this food....5 STAR!!!!!
