This taqueria is located on 280 at a Shell Station near Panda Express & Whataburger. If you're in a hurry you can even skip the line & order online. This taqueria caught my eye due to its (current) 5 star rating on Yelp.Taco El Guero offers 6 taco choices & tonight I tried half of them. I was able to fit all 3 on a salad plate, so they are pretty small. From left to right we have al pastor (marinated pork), asada (steak) & cachete (beef cheek). Al pastor is usually my absolute favorite when it comes to tacos & this one did not disappoint. Super flavorful, tender pork on a perfectly chewy corn tortilla. Absolutely delicious!Though al pastor is my all time fav taco, the asada was my favorite from this place. That steak just melts in your mouth & is complimented perfectly by the onions & cilantro. Totally recommend.Sometimes cachete tacos can have a weird texture & be really fatty. This one was not fatty at all, but just a tiny bit tough. The taste was excellent though. Love me a good beef cheek taco!The tacos came with red & green sauces. I'm not sure what's in them, but they were both really good. The green one packs less heat & was more vinegary. The red one was hot as hell & was my favorite of the two. Lots of flavor.I was very impressed by this little taqueria. There are toooons of taquerias around, but this one stood out to me! 5/5 will be back!

Delicious tacos! They were so good that I actually forgot to take a picture of them but I can tell you that the carnitas and Al pastor are delicious and satisfying!Definitely will be coming back again!

I've tried 10+ taco trucks in the bham area, I think this is the king. I have not ordered anything outside of tacos but I don't need to do so. My favorites are the lengua, pastor, and asada. No hard bits, no nasty things that should've been trimmed away. I'll keep trying taco trucks around town but this one is top of my list for now. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

THIS foodtruck tastes like very good restaraunt quality food. So good. I tell everyone about this place, and with good reason. Its just that good.

Finally!!!!! A gooood taco truck in BHAM!!!! Asada is on point, as well as Carnitas! Only weird thing for me is they don't put rice in their burritos. I'm going to try a burrito next visit, im sure it's gonna be bomb too! Tacos have Tastes from a California taco truck!!!!!

I'm so glad I found this little spot on Google maps because it was legit. Don't be scared of the food truck in the gas station parking lot because the food is so good and so authentic. I had three tacos: chicken, steak, and pastor. The pastor was my favorite but all were delicious. The food came out crazy fast as well.

While this location is difficult to get out of with it being right off of highway 280. This taco truck located next to the Shell gas station is an excellent place to get street tacos and other food options like quesadillas and tortas. The service was quick as I just had enough time to go in the gas station and my food was already waiting on me by the time I got back. I highly recommend stopping here for lunch or for a late night meal.
