Was seated promptly, order was taken immediately, food met my expectations

The food was good but the waiter got the order wrong and would not admit that she made a mistake and insisted that we were lying we both ordered shrimp dishes but the one she served was chicken even the manger would not honor the waiter's mistake. We had to purchase 3 meals instead. What is this world coming to when you get accused of lying, where you choose to spend your money. ðŸ˜

Very delicious food
We go here pretty often and it is delicious! Food is always warm and well prepared; comes out quick and the servers are always on top of things. Never had a bad experience here.

El Vecino Mexican restaurant has great food with great service and a very good atmosphere. My wife and I love the trio fajitas, which come with tender steak, grilled shrimp, and chicken.
The portions are large and I guarantee you will be satisfied!

In my opinion, the diamond in the ruff when it comes to Mexican restaurants in the Birmingham metro area. I've been going here for years.

By far the best Mexican food I've had in a long time . The salsa was amazing , we actually bought salsa to take home. It will be our go to spot to eat while in Birmingham .
