My favorite got chicken in Birmingham. Not too wet and saucy. Perfect levels of heat. Always fresh. Service is friendly. Only complaint is I wish they would bring back the chicken thigh sandwich.
Every time we are in town, we have to stop by here and eat. Fried pickled okra is a must and the collards were on point. Get half a chicken and share. We met Zeb, one of the owners. He was working just as hard as anyone else. So you know he takes pride in his restaurant.
Really good jumbo tenders. The sides were also pretty good. I got the hot seasoning which was indeed hot and spicy. Nice location with seating inside and out. Very similar to hattie b.
