The egg rolls and fries were amazing. My drinks were only partially full in comparison to other patrons that ordered the same flight. Service was okay. Would definitely return to try more menu

Really love this place, but the price discrepancy between this location and the Trussville location is ridiculous. $6 more for fish and chips bc it’s downtown. That’s crazy when the space is so small and not even comparable to the Trussville location. Even the salad is more expensive.

Not my first visit and it's always nice inside. Curious to me that they don't carry the stout beers that are available at Trussville??? I was able to get a stout, but it wasn't one of theirs.

This is the kinda brunch that sends you straight to bed for a nap after! My friend and I stopped by one Saturday and thankfully it wasn't too crowded. We were swiftly seated right by the window, which has a perfect view of Avondale park.We started with cocktails of course and my daiquiri was delish. I also tried pimento dip for the first time and it wasn't bad. The color and texture always seemed odd to me but Ferus has a really great jam or jelly type topping on theirs that adds good flavor. My salad was the bomb dot com. Plenty of bacon crumbles and blue cheese along with fresh veggies. My friend's burger was also tasty but the tots stole the show. The caramel dipping sauce that comes with it needs to be bottled and sold at the counter.

We've come to Ferus a few times now for a quick drink or bite and have always enjoyed our experience. The only reason for 4/5 stars is because of the time it takes to get some service. The staff is usually inside or away when we come to the outside bar. We love to sit outside with our dog, though, and enjoy the Adirondack chairs they have that face the theatre screen outside. The food is also so delicious! We will keep coming back for the drinks & food.

We miss the sweet potato fries and grilled/baked brussel sprouts. Do NOT like sweet potato tots. Haven’t been back since the change. Loved the atmosphere and Emily and other you g lady who always took good care if us on Sunday.

Was more of a bar than restaurant. And may have just been understaffed Sunday. But service was slow and it was kinda warm in the building. They should've had a self seating sign at the entrance. Food was slow to come waffle was good chicken had to much pickle flavor the breakfast fries were good but the gravy very lumpy friends didn't like the burrito nor the potato bowl.

Totally forgot to take photos but recommend the southwest egg rolls. The beer cheese on the fries was addictive! Pickle-brined chicken was super moist. Sweet potato tots were a great treat.

Really cool venue with an outside patio featuring live music and cold beer. Good place to chill, have a drink and some food.
