Went for breakfast and was the best! I had a sausage omelet with cheese and grits and bacon and my husband had a blt and 2 pancakes with sausage. They were all delicious! Really like the nostalgic feel of the place. Will definitely go back and want to try the dinner now, but we'll go back soon for breakfast! 😋
The Breakfast portions are humongous, and they do it well. This place is a landmark staple of historical must visit places. Highly recommended when you are visiting Downtown Metropolitan Birmingham. Great job Fifth.
Fife's is a cafeteria with a lot of heavy gravy type meat entries and a good selection of other very Southern foods. You are served large servings and the folks are very friendly. The food is served in styrofoam with plastic utensils even if you eat in, but did see a great deal of takeout orders.
