Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Special thanks to Richard, he went above and beyond to take special care for my and my daughters allergies to ensure we were safe. Had absolutely zero complications and it was delicious. I do wish that the veggie patty was more filling, or it came as a double or something along those lines, but still had a great taste. 10/10

We have been to Freddy’s several times, but this is the first time that I am rating them. Usually, I’ve been very pleased, but today I had a bad experience. I was in the mood for a grilled chicken sandwich. Going through the drive-through with a quick look at the menu board I only saw a Grill Chicken Club which has bacon and cheese that I didn’t want. So when I drove up to the ordering location, I asked the attendant if she had a plain grill chicken sandwich. She said she did so I replied, “Okay, that’s what I want and a small Diet Coke. The answer I got was, “Will Pepsi be okay?” to which I replied, “No, just water will be fine.” I think at that point the attendant stated the price and instructions to drive around, but if she provided the charge itwas gargled by the speaker.

When I got to the window, I’m handed her my credit card and she eventually handed me a small cup of water and a paper bag containing the food I ordered. I found parking spot where I intended to eat in my car. In the bag was a sandwich and a small order of what looked like shoestring fries that I didn’t order. The sandwich turned out to be their Grill Chicken Club complete with bacon and cheese. That time I figured, well it’s just a misunderstanding and I’ll make do. I removed the bacon from the sandwich. It turned out to be three thin half strips that were mostly fat. It would’ve been almost impossible to remove the melted cheese, so I just left it on the sandwich and ate it. it turned out to be a very good sandwich, though it had a little bit too much mayonnaise. I figured since they also gave me the fries, I ate them as well and they turned out to be real good.

My problem with the whole experience was when I got home I belatedly check the receipts and found out that I had been charged $11.87 for a Grill Chicken Club Combo which, according to the receipt, consisted of the sandwich, the fries, and a cup of water. But let me be clear be clear, neither the word “combo” nor the word “fries” were ever spoken during my conversation with the attendant. And I never expected to have pay for water at a restaurant.

As I said, I’ve eaten at Freddy’s before and always in the past I have had a good experiences. I have enjoyed their hamburgers onion rings and the today’s grilled chicken sandwich and even the fries were very good. That’s the only reason why I’m not rating Freddy’s with a much lower mark, even with my bad experience today.

Vegetarian options: We’re only talking about french fries, fried tater tots, fried onion rings, and some more items

Food was okay. Slowest service on the face of the planet. Took us 35 minutes to get our food. When we first got there a gentleman gave us his receipt for a concrete that he ordered and had presumably been waiting a while for, he told us his ticket number and said we could have it. We were there a total of 1 hr and 25 minutes and they still never called his number. Don't go here if you're in a hurry

Ordered 1 chocolate shake, 2 fries and two combo meals. We were shorted two fries. Always check your order before leaving any drive thru.

Food was decent but the prices were very high for take out burgers. A double with cheese was $12 and that's higher than Applebee's.

Great food. Great price. Son loves their concretes(maybe a little too much). Sometimes the drive thru can take a while, but always seems worth it.

The inside pick up can be the pits though. Got there sat to wait for my food. The pick up shelves were empty. Played on my phone a bit. A young couple came in after me. The lady called them for their order was ready. I'm still sitting. Was sitting for over 20 minutes and then notice a bag on the pick up shelf. It was mine! I was sitting right NEXT to the shelf and infront of her the entire time!! She NEVER said a WORD about my order! (I was not happy.) I took my food and left without a word. She did give me my concretes first and let me put them in their freezer which was between me and the pick up shelf which was great,but the fact she didn't say anything to me when my pick up order was ready (unless I was just engrossed in my phone game to notice...) my food was about cold when I got home.

Awesome location! Food is always perfect. Definitely a place that we keep going back to.

2 cars ahead of me. Took 15 mins to get to window. Got food. Forgot onion rings. Checked sandwich..whole bag wrong order. Told me to keep it. Had to wait for them to redo my order. 10 more minutes. Gave me small onion rings..had ordered and pd. for large. Waited again for large onion rings. No straw in the bag. Forgot my 2 sauces. $16! NO.ONE.CARED. Never again. Good luck Freddy's.

Went thru drive thru today sept 27 at the Trussville, AL location, around 2 pm. Person working drive thru had the personality of a tree stump. Handed me the food, no thank you. This was my first and last time spending my $$ there.

I’ve been in the drive-through over 30 minutes and only one car has been serviced. I will never come to this Freddy’s again.
