Had our first date at Freddy’s six years ago and just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary with dinner there again! Absolutely the best people and food and service!!! Can’t wait to come back!

Very nice. Menu is very much like a Bistro. Smal plates, tapas, snacks and salads with a few meals.
They have a very nice wine list that is priced to drink. Good selection of draft beers.
The tables outside are nice with corresponding weather.
We had pesto pasta, pastitsio and stuffed peppers, all very tasty and nice portions. Value is absolutely there. Nice, appropriate crowd.
GO!

Freddy's has a nice chill vibe, delicious food and nicely made, tasty cocktails. Very good wine selection too. The wedge Caesar salad was a standout. Highly recommended!

Don’t waste your time! $100 for half cooked meatballs, a glass of sub par wine, iced coffee espresso martini, with two grilled cheese sandwiches one with turkey that I could’ve made on a drunken night at home. Waste of 100 bucks and a complete waste of time. Avoid at all costs. Our waitress was really nice though.

We are new to the area and heard great things about this place but, for the second time in as many weeks, we have visited two different restaurants that both proclaim to have a great beer selection, and when we arrived there was no beer. Last night was one of those.

Our server said that it was some problem with CO2. I get it, things happen, but this is when a decent manager door-dashes a few cases to keep customers happy.

This is a great little neighborhood restaurant with great food and a casual vive. I did feel it was a bit on the pricy side, but we will go again.

Went to Freddy's for a company party. The staff was friendly but they were overwhelmed and shorthanded. The layout is not conducive for a party that size; as it tends to separate the people in the party. There is not much parking on-site but there is a parking area and deck a five minutes walk away. Food for the party was OK but that is always something that can change from day to day, so try it for yourself. Lots of choices in wine (it's a wine bar) but, if you prefer beer, not so much. Overall, it was a ok night.

I’ve been a couple times recently and the service is always friendly & they have such tasty dishes. Loved the bread & butter with olive tapenade, and the olive oil cake was surprisingly delicious. Good wine AND cocktails - I enjoyed my espresso martini and my boyfriend enjoyed his old fashioned. Now that the weather is cooling down, the porch is a perfect date night atmosphere.

Went to the new homewood location and it was amazing! Didn’t have to make reservations and there was a minimal wait time on a friday night! If they have the sausage and pepper flatbread on the special menu, get it! It cannot be beat!

I had an exceptional experience at Freddy's Wine Bar on Highland Ave! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the sophisticated yet cozy atmosphere. The decor is stylish, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort, making it an ideal spot for wine lovers.

The wine selection is incredible, featuring a wide range of both local and international options. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about wine, and they provided excellent recommendations based on my preferences. I also tried the Standard Charcuterie Board which included 2 Charcuterie with 2 Cheeses' which was perfectly paired with a delicious red wine.

The service was top-notch – attentive, friendly, and never rushed. They took the time to explain the nuances of the wines and made the entire experience feel special.

Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just looking for a great place to unwind with friends, Freddy's Wine Bar is a must-visit. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of their fantastic wine offerings!

We should have known to leave when the request for a medium-rare burger was met with an awkward pause, as the server shared that it is already pre-cooked. Surely, the burger that cost $16 or so was out in some two minutes. I ordered an okay tomato salad without meat but it arrived with chunks of meat that I had to fish out. An underwhelming experience that put Freddy’s on our “won’t return” list, so two stars feels rather generous. The friendly server Destiny is the only thing that made up for the disappointment.
