Prices are way to high for what’s offered. Mac n cheese was gummy and tasted like watery pepper. Fries were crunchy and not salted at all!! It was 37$ and some change for two plates and I checked my card next day, they charged me $45 and some change🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 this is not okay, I definitely would not have paid $45 for the quality of food received!

Best BBQ ever. Very small place hard to get around a bit crowded but definitely returning. I also recommend taking you some of them cookies with you.

The employees are not very friendly but the food is great. I had the turkey sandwich last time and it was very good, including the fries and carrot cake. The meat portions are also very generous.

Delicious pulled pork with vinegary slaw and yummy barbecue beans. The chow chow adds just the right zing, next time I'll buy a jar. Wish there was a little more sauce, but I'm a sauce gal-- what was there was delicious, and the pork was plenty moist. My son got the half pound burger, and that was a thing of beauty! In this age of smash burgers, a thick and super juicy burger is a welcome deviation, and this one was amazing! Of course we had to get a dozen Half Moon cookies, a choice we did not regret one bit. Next time we're in Birmingham, we'll be back to try more of the menu!
I got food poisoning from this location. I normally get full moon in Trussville, hoover, and 280. This was just close by my job and I was on lunch. The rib plate is what I got and I felt fine all day. Just until 2am it all started. I didn't eat anything else after that plate so I knew it was from here. I've been sick since 2am and been getting worse because of this.

To have only decent bbq and then to put a puke like substance you call “chow chow” all over my food without asking is just absurd. I ordered over $40 in food for the kids and I tonight. Ended up scraping a good portion of contaminated meat in the trash. Food allergies are a thing. Maybe someone has to get sick and sue before you change your procedures but at least ask before you ruin my order with your vomit like substance.
Guarantee if you remove it off the menu nobody would miss it.

Tried full moon after not having it a few years, got the pulled pork samdwhich and burger. The pulled pork was full of fat in each bite, could not finish it. The burger was fine, dry, flavorless and bun very soggy. Fries were fine though.

I am in the area multiple times a month. I really enjoy a Barbeque sandwich every trip.
I came August 9th 2025 which was my birthday. Our server was Asyia T. She was very attentive to our needs and helpful with various questions we had. She's a valuable asset to your company.

The ribs are good but the sides are horrible the potato salad is store bought the bake beans have no flavor!! I was sooo disappointed!!
