Interior is so beautiful and charming. We only had coffee here so we can't speak to the food, but the coffee was delicious. Staff were very kind. The surrounding area is also very pretty.

I love the atmosphere in General, it is wonderful! I love the maximalism going on, and the cool products for sale all around the store. They serve coffee from June coffee, and they have really good cakes and pastries. This is a really fun hangout spot during the day.

Ordered chicken salad sandwich on certain bread and having toasted.It should have not have been issue.It took 15 min plus it came out wrong.

I decided to stop for a quick treat today. I love the overall vibe and the employees working the front are always so nice! However one of the employees, possibly the chef, was incredibly disrespectful to another customer in front of me. I was mortified. I will never go to general again after seeing that. She was very aggressive toward everyone and after seeing how she acted, i would honestly never eat there again. Maybe if the food was good I would understand her smug attitude but it's not.... Such a disgusting experience.

Great little morning sport, and great location. Admittedly I am a huge fan of the forest park area, so I am bias. This spot has just about everything you expect from a morning breakfast spot. Great coffee from June(local roaster) and phenomenal pastry and breakfast/brunch/lunch items.
