First, I love the restaurant and have had good experiences there, I hope it's in Irondale for many more years. Unfortunately, today my food was not great. It was very dry and lukewarm at best. The potato salad was good tho.

Ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit, it was huge 👌🏽 and very good 👍🏿! Had cheese grits that were surprisingly good since it's a BBQ place... Wifey had a breakfast plate full of food she couldn't finish and enjoyed her eggs,bologna ,grits and toast and hashbrowns!

I ate here a few times recently while in the area for work. I tried different things each time and the first two times the food was blah. The last time I got the hickory chicken sandwich and it was horrible. It was dry, cold, tasteless, and half was all over the plate. I won't be back.

Best thing about this place is the close location to the airport. Thought the barbecue would be good, but it wasn’t. Food was bland and hastily prepared. Beer was $5.50 for a bottle. Service is fine and friendly, but do yourself a favor and find better food elsewhere.

Absolute trash…..I was there twice this week. Once for dinner and once for Saturday breakfast. Both were absolute garbage. The burger I got was over cooked the veggies were wilted to death. And the fries were soggy and tired. I decided to give the breakfast a try…. But that was an even bigger mistake. The waffles which are 12 bucks, are straight from a package. Who serves waffles from a store inside a full service restaurant? I ended up having a very bad interaction with the management because I pointed that out. I also ordered the breakfast skillet….. it was the most terrible take on a skillet breakfast known to mankind. The potatoes were dry and old. The sausage was even older. And the bacon was…. Well noticeably old also. Only thing that was fresh was the egg. All around horrible. If you have never eaten here…. DON’T.
