YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE ONE TIME.... Or you Haven't lived!! Everyone in the place smokes. There is smoke everywhere.. as a non smoker, I did like through it, but I had to go home and change cloths. I have zero clue what the food tasted like because I was enamored with ALL THE DAMN SMOKERS IN ONE PLACE.

I love that I can smoke my cigarettes and drink my coffee here. I wouldn't recommend children cause of the smoking but they definitely get 4.5 stars from me

Food and service was good. The server and cook were attentive. I am not a smoker and they allow for smoking in this establishment. Even with that I would go there again.

This is not the same neighborhood Griddle House that I remember when I lived around the corner 5 years ago. A 'griddle house' that could not make a pancake or waffle at noon! Sad...Kid-friendliness: Don't take the children. Smoking us still allowed and abounds!

GamerGirl Everly, I’m not sure you were at Griddle house with your description of it! Yes they allow smoking , evidently you don’t like that but Don’t run a place that is clean, NO roaches EVER that I’ve seen and I’ve been going to that place for over 20 years ! Very nice place if you like to enjoy a cup of coffee and a cigarette.

Really wished I had just gone the extra mile to waffle houseDefinitely more for locals, didn't know it was a smoking place, thats pretty gross, food was bland and covered in butter, but I guess thats how they do it here....?Wasn't greeted, my waitress was nice and prompt. Got my food to goNo where on this page does it mention that this is a SMOKING establishment, it does say good for kids and that's DEAD wrong, I would never bring my child to a place where they'd be suffocated with smoke. Gross

It's like waffle house had a baby with a landfill. Dont bring your kids in there if you care about their health. They still allow smoking in there and it's just gross. There's roaches crawling everywhere like their pets or something. I think one of them had a collar on. The health inspector must have been paid off in cigarettes and burnt coffee. Cause that place is just oozing with the yuck. See that dumpster picture? Smell it and eat out of it, not only will it taste and smell better than the actual restaurant.... It's free and the roaches already have a place to live next door so they won't bother you in there.

Extremely racist. Tried to go a few years back gave every excuse not to let us in door. would not let me and black wife in door. White friend was with us and suggest we leave because we weren't welcome. We are from up north and traveling down south to experience that still sticks with me today. I'm here again visiting and passed the restaurant and finally decided to write the review
