This was my first time at any Hattie B's. Now I know what all the talk is about. This is the best chain (maybe any kind) of bone in fried chicken I have had. You can tell it is cooked fresh. Nice crust. They offer various levels of heat. I chose medium (3rd on the scale). It was a little too hot for my liking. I will drop down to mild next time. I came to Alabama from Japan to visit my family, and I am very happy to have had the opportunity to encounter such delicious fried chicken.
The fried chicken here is crispy on the outside, juicy and soft on the inside, and the aroma of spices and spicy seasoning whet my appetite, and I couldn't stop asking for the piping hot chicken!
This is a restaurant I definitely want to visit again when I visit Alabama 😊

This place is phenomenal. Hands down the best Nashville hot chicken you can get in Nashville, so no doubt also the best in Birmingham! My hot chicken was amazing as always, and service was top notch too.
