Absolutely a TREAT!!! We were in town for the GT Bowl game and a local had recommended this adorable place. FRIENDLY service, delicious food, with a FUN Saturday morning vibe - kid friendly for both the BIG kids and little kids! Coffee was hot and delicious and the donuts were SO good, we had to get some 'to go' for our ride bk to ATL..
Jack was incredibly professional and kind. A few days ago I came in with my boyfriend, he needed the bathroom. They were cleaning the store, greeted us, very nice i could automatically tell. A man had said something rude to me, I left so I didn’t escalate and called to let the store manager know about the inappropriate stranger. this very kind manager called me back on the phone moments later after I called and apologized for not being able to prevent the situation and I just thought the hospitality and kindness they showed was worth leaving a review over. I hope the safety of these employees and customers at these sort of restaurants is being considered a priority by the police in downtown Birmingham because we have very kind and hard working people and every day customers who appreciate the kind service that Jack did for me.

Really yummy donuts! It was my 2nd visit to the donut shop and ill definitely go again. Haven't tried their lunch yet but the menue looks like it would be yummy also. I'll be going for more than donuts next time we visit!

Hero has a good selection of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, lunch and drinks. The service and food were both great. My wife highly recommends the loaded hash browns.
The coffee was decent but you’d be better off going down the street to Red Cat if you are only going for coffee.
The donuts were good but $4.50 for one donut is steep.
All together it was a good experience but prices and portions drop the rating from 5 stars to 4.

This is such a cute place to grab some breakfast. The interior is really aesthetic & great for photos. But the doughnuts are equally as delicious, as well as the sweet tea. Loved it :)

The customer service wasn't all that great. I came in and went back to the donut section. I got the apple cider donuts, Vanilla glaze, and the pistachio donut. The pistachio donut was horrible. It was bland and dry. I also ordered a Americano coffee. The employee taking my order needed to be a little more knowledgeable of the menu. Especially the coffee.
