The owners have been LYING for three plus years about reopening. Why not be honest with the public? Admit you may never open again because you possibly can’t find the chefs and waiters and support staff to duplicate the excellence you once had, before COVID.
But stop the TEASE.
Take down your website. Come clean. Promote your other two locations.
Stop the fraud.

Elegant room; maitre de service. Wine list well curated, not super expensive. Breads-- a house sourdough, sour as it should be and well done. A decent light corn muffin. Tried a potato leek soup. While a good bisque (a little creme fraiche in there), advertised black truffle shavings had no depth of flavor. Main veal medallions over baby spinach (perfect), roasted garlic heads, polenta. Nicely cooked, but crust oversalted. Dessert a strawberry tart, tasty fresh and light, nice citron peel. Our feleing was this is as good as Birmingham gets.
Few things in life live up to the hype. This place does, every time I’ve been there.
Good food on elevated scale. Better plan in advance as it is very popular.
Outstanding! We have been several times for corporate dinners and events and holiday gatherings. Always a good time!
We sat at the bar because this restaurant was booked for weeks. We got Great service! Fast, efficient service, and the food was fantastic! Shrimp cocktail appetizer, Triple tail with ratatouille, Red Snapper with Zucchini pancake. It was awesome and the guy even offered to take a picture of us, he didn't have to do that, but it showed real hospitality, we were very impressed!
The Shrimp Salad was one of the best salads I've ever eaten. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and served with various lettuces, grapefruit, pomegranate seeds and a delightful citrus vinaigrette. My pheasant was ok--not great, but the woman next to me had a beautiful-looking venison. I think I'll order than next time. Fun atmosphere at the bar, where you can be seated without a reservation.

there are so many things I loved approximately dining right here! Impeccable provider, agreeable wine selection, exquisite oysters with delectable dipping sauces, mixed lettuces salad with slivers of pickled carrots, and the simply inspired deviled eggs. The mushrooms and grilled asparagus facets exploded with taste. The environment is heat with a amazing vibe. two anomalies surprised me. The water became unfiltered and had an off smell, and the Strip steak wasn't hot whilst it changed into served. in any other case the evening become perfect.
I took my mother here for a celebration meal. Everything was wonderful. Don’t miss the grits or the signature coconut cake. Both the meat and seafood were done well. Reservations can be difficult, but it’s sister restaurant next door Chez Fon Fon, is bistro style, with no reservations and the same quality.
I enjoyed every moment, from the warm welcome to the great starters, salads, entrees, and desserts. The friend chicken liver was my favorite with the pork chop entree a close second. We tried many of the savory and sweet options and we enjoyed all of them. Everything was amazing. Must try!
Plan ahead for dinner and be prepared for the best. Visit the bar before dinner for a lively upscale and inviting place for original cocktails and the standards. Service was top notch too. I had the fish special, which was amazing. Always memorable!! Highly recommended.
The food was delicious, and the service was spectacular. The highlight was the mushrooms on the grits. I love mushrooms, and it makes me so happy when mushrooms are done right. These mushrooms were perfectly tender and flavorful, which balanced the light grits. Can't say enough good things about the grits--a must-try if you come.
