My grandmother passed away 3 months ago. We always did holidays at her house. This year I’m having to do Thanksgiving for the first time on my own. I decided to order a ham and I am fixing the sides to go with it. I ordered my ham on 11/17 and paid for it. I have my confirmation email saying it would be ready to pick up today. So after working all day I show up at the honey baked ham store to get my ham and there is an employee standing outside saying the store is closed. Confused, I showed her the confirmation email and said I had already payed for my $70 ham on 11/17. The employee then tells me they have NO HAM. None. The truck didn’t come in this morning and she took down my name and number and said someone would get in touch with me within a few days to refund my money. I am hysterical at this point because now my little family has no meat for Thanksgiving. Honey Baked Ham knew all day that the truck didn’t come but never reached out to the customers who have already paid for their ham to let them know that we needed to do something else because they had no ham. This is absolutely unacceptable. It’s now almost 6pm on the night before Thanksgiving so what am I to do now???
