Stayed to be close to the hospital for my best friends surgery and cars were revving engines all night, loud weird noises in hall, straight party going on all around at every corner. You can’t sleep even with the tv on and you have to pay to park at the public parking garage. Smells like piss in the elevator covered up with perfume. Do not recommend!!!
Do not, I repeat do not come here to this hotel if you want relax. It does say in the reservations that its in a entertainment area…. But this is not even entertainment that we have been up against! Its straight thugs on the road with their cars! This is absolutely against the law! Where is the law enforcement here!!!! Do not stay at those hotel if u want to sleep!!!

Hotel Indigo Birmingham Five Points S - Uab by IHG provides a decent stay for guests. Rooms are described as nice and clean, though street noise can be heard. The valet service is prompt and professional, going above and beyond for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location near Five Points is convenient, though the surrounding area can be loud at night with music, cars, motorcycles, and police sirens. Some guests noted a $40 charge for valet parking, with free street parking available after hours, though it may require a walk. The restaurant is described as "the pits," and some rooms were lacking in basics, with a coffee maker that had no plug. The kitchenette was a "glorified wet-bar," and a barn-style bathroom door offered little privacy. The hotel staff are friendly but not very knowledgeable about their services. Overall, it's considered 2 stars for the price, and 4 stars for a more reasonable price.
