The drinks and atmosphere here are amazing. My only complaint is sometimes they close earlier than the hours on Google indicate and it’s never consistent on when they do. I recommend coming here when they’re open.

I had the unfortunate experience of being refused service into this establishment. Due to the simple fact that I hadn't notice a sign to wait for the hostess, I was not allowed in. In order to provide context, I'd like to mention that there was no one waiting to be seated, we clearly saw our friends at the bar, and I repeatedly told the host (who later stated that he was the owner) that I did not want to engage in any conversation with him in order to remain calm and refrain from being disrespectful. I then asked him to redirect all questions to my friend who was present with me at the time, and that pretty much put him over the top. He was upset, and stated that I had no right to be upset, even with his agressive demeanor. I truly believe that rather than getting disruptive and disorderly, my efforts are better used exercising my English Literature degree in hopes that this establishment would go on notice for the way it treats their patrons

The House of Found Objects is an oasis. Not only is the owner a gem, the service is impeccable and the cocktails are perfectly concocted. I haven’t found a better place to imbibe than HOFO. Truly a needle in the haystack.

We absolutely love this bar. Felt very intimate and friendly and yet it was an experience we will remember. The staff is exceptional, made us feel welcome and at home, and made our rare babysitter date-night a total win.
Such a neat place to have a cocktail with some friends. You can play games while you are at your table. And even dress up in costumes. You wouldn't even know the place existed if you didn't know about it.

I took my sister here last night after we left an event we had gone to earlier that night. I loved Atomic when it was around, and I had one of my best dates there. So when I originally came to House of Found Objects (HoFO), I kept comparing it to that date and it didn’t quite live up. It was still such a cool environment that I knew my sister would love it. A different experience and expectation was exaclty what I needed to get a fresh read on the bar. We. Had. A. BLAST! We sat in the lower level, red-room and played a game while we waited for our drinks. Our server was Cat and she was so nice, helpful, and upbeat. The music choices were top notch and the drinks were delicious and adorable! The bubble machines overhead came on twice while we were there, which was so unexpected and fun. We made sure to hop in the photo booth/video booth before we left for a chance at being on the big screen. I can’t wait to go back and show other friends this amazing spot. Thanks for a good time HoFO! You make Birmingham even cooler!

Possibly the coolest and most unique bar experience I’ve had in quite sometime!!! A pure pleasure with killer cocktails, and ambiance to boot! I would plan a road trip for this place, every time, all the time! Thanks Patrick for a most unexpected and simply phenomenal evening! First stop next time in Birmingham!
