My Fiance’ and I attended a concert there tonight and had dinner. Everything was going as planned laughing, hanging out. During the final performance of the night, security detail approached me and asked if they could speak with me outside. I had no problem with that. Once outside the gentleman asked if I was in the restaurant recently I said no. Then he asked if I visited the restaurant at all I said yes. He then said that some other consumers stated that I was making racial comments and saying the “N” word. None of which is true. He said that they had cameras which I said good. He then stated his manager was on his way down to speak with me. Upon waiting three other security personnel along with a Birmingham Uniformed Officer showed up. I was questioned erratically by all. I was not under the influence nor do I drink period. I felt publicly attacked and treated like a racist. I never saw video footage of anything that I may have said. The manager arrived and I shook his hand and told him what happened while we was having dinner. After all the finger pointing and accusations I told the manager this is obsurd because my daughter dates a black kid. When I said that nothing else was said and I was allowed back in. Should I pursue something more?

Love this smaller venue. I’ve been here many times over the years. 2nd time seeing Hippie Sabotage here, love them.

Awesome venue. Respectful staff. We had an awesome time watching hippie sabotage. 10/10 will go again, and I highly recommend getting a table ontop.

I went to see hippie sabotage on Monday night, March 18th.. the show was great ,the venue was nice.. but the young lady taking tickets at the door was EXTREMELY rude and condescending.

We’ve been here twice in the last three months. First, we went for their Studio 22 NYE event which was a blast! The unlimited drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and perfectly selected live entertainment made for a wonderful evening. Second, we went to see Chappell Roan who had local drag queens open for her. Both times were a blast and parking in the area was plentiful. Would definitely recommend this venue!

I had a nice time here for the R&B Live Only show and i enjoyed it. Nice, environment that feels safe and attracts the better quality people.

We had a great time. Mom Jean's put on an excellent show. My only complaint or suggestion would be to have someone sort of seating available for people around pit area for people.

Iron City is one of the biggest venues in the city, and it hosts some of the largest names that come through. Unfortunately, I hate seeing performances here. If the show is anywhere near sold out, you're not going to be able to see what's happening on the stage from general admission area, and you won't be able to find a spot to stand where you aren't constantly being pushed. You may not be able to breathe because of how packed and poorly ventilated the room is. A person near me passed out, and we were standing next to the door to the patio where air was circulating. It is impossible to navigate the venue easily if you want to go to the bathroom or the bar, or get a breath of fresh air. I feel like there would be an immense safety issue if something were to go wrong inside and people needed to evacuate quickly.I was only finally able to see the headliner on stage for the last two songs of the setlist because people started leaving.I sure wish y'all would put some money into making this space more comfortable for the ticket holders.

My first time coming here for my 1st R&B only experience. The venue is nice and clean. The drinks for the event was OK. They didn't have a variety of cocktails. It's street parking but it was full so we parked in a paid parking lot on 5th Avenue.

Weird workers. You have to reserve a table even if you bought a VIP package? Security is rude. The venue does let you know about anything prior?

I went to see Steel Panther, and it was an awesome show. It was my first time going to Iron City, and I loved the venue. I hope I remember the name right, but I appreciate Courtney setting me up with the ADA seating, which was very comfortable and had a great view. The drinks were reasonably priced also. On top of everything else, I ended the evening catching a drumstick from Stix Zadinia. I look forward to hopefully attending more shows there in the future

Great experience! Sound was perfect! It would be nice to have some food where the venue is for the music!

Only gave 4 out of 5 stars because I have a very bad spine and choice NOT to bring my brace or anything! Plus , I Needed a handicap parking places in lot next to venue in my opinion. Did not see one , except on street ! So glad we came early for the excellent Mark Broussard band ! Great sound , voices , and amazingly talented musicians! Other than a NO CASH CONCERT for drinks is sad in my opinion. But understand the reasoning.. I use to do security for Tony Rufino; up at Oak Amphitheater and BJCC .. Birmingham-rocks !!!
