I had the brisket chili for delivery and I saw this small bone inside it (like a typical chicken bone with both edges but it was a pinky finger size) I wonder what it is since it is not supposed to have bone right ? I hope everything is clean and hygienic but I threw it away since I could not put it out of my mind since I have never seen any bones in all the times I have ordered it ever before !!!!

This is our first time at Jim ‘n Nick’s Community Bar-B-Q. What a delicious dinner in a friendly, attentive, super clean restaurant. We leaned they have over 50 locations throughout the South. We will definitely look for more locations. I had the loaded baked potato with pulled chicken and it was delicious! It was the biggest potato I’ve ever seen, and I am not lying. My husband had bar-b-q chicken with the b-b-q corn on the cob and collard greens he also loved his meal.

We waited in the drive-thru for 20 minutes or so, on 01/01/25 in the late afternoon for a slice of pie. Ok there were several cars ahead and that was fine. A young black girl with a spiky afro hairdo answered the window and I asked her for a courtesy drink, anything with lemon. Well, she gave me what I asked for, anything with lemon which happened to be an unsweetened tea. I wasn't upset or anything, I just wanted something else more palatable, please. I tried to get her attention by tapping my car horn, but she didn't respond. I could clearly see her behind the tinted glass in the drive-thru. From a customer's view, it looked she was just standing there. When she answered the window, I simply asked if I could have something else. At this point, her attitude emerged, she obliged my request, and got another drink. I never knew what that other drink was bcuz behind a simple request, you're now upset with a customer in the drive-thru who had to wait 20 minutes for a slice of pie, and all she asked for was a drink which is presented with an nasty attitude, so I dumped those drinks in the nearest place I could find. No ma'am, no sir, that's what I get for trying out this place. I'm a Full Moon customer.

Me and the wife visit this Jim N Nicks late in the afternoon Monday gone the food the barbecue was dry and overcooked ,banana pudding was terrible ,the nacho platter was also cheese wasnt even melted good .Service was great ,other Jim N Nicks good we eat alot at other location but not this one in Homewood AL.
The service at the restaurant is piss poor if I'm being generous. It's actually non-existent. Do yourself a favor and go through the drive thru if you want Jim-N-Nicks. They expect you to tip but give terrible non-existent service. The drive thru service is 10x better. Do NOT go inside

Placed an order online went to drive thru to pick up my order was told to come in im on a walker. That's why I go to the dive thru cause I can't hold things an walk at the same time. So I can order in the drive thru wait and you hand me my food but if I order on line I got to come in make it make sense my food is already made should be quick just to hand it to me instead of waiting for 10 min u make my order. Was told I'll give to u this time like I was a child really I better not do that again

Extremely long wait to receive food after ordering (nacho supreme). Queso was very good. They forgot the sauce, but brought it when I asked.
Vegetarian options: Be aware: baked beans have meat (pork) in them. Cole slaw is good, salads are fresh, baked potatoes are good.

Service was lacking. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. It comes with sauce on it. I ordered extra sauce on the side. I got home and had no sauce whatsoever. I got a BBQ sandwich and had no BBQ sauce.

I'm a bbq fanatic from Mo. I really enjoyed this place. The brisket was similar to Texas style with a hint of sweetness. The ribs were cooked well, but weren't Kc style. The turkey was wonderful. The pit beans were probably the best I've got from a restaurant... sweet and savory. I absolutely recommend.
