Arrived at opening at 11am, we were seated at a baby table. My husband is over 6 ft tall and hates to complain but detest these small tables. His knees were against the table post. They had just opened for lunch and the bread was served cold. Not a good experience.

The price hikes at JNN in recent years have been annoying enough. Now that the chain was sold to a capital investment firm, the quality has gone straight downhill. I bought a brisket for lunch today, and not only was it almost thirty bucks, it was gross. This brisket was the most disgusting pile of fat I've ever seen sold as food. What a shame. Birmingham has lost another once great restaurant.

1000/5 stars today. Whoever made a door dash baked potato (bbq) at 12:30-1pm, did it perfectly. Skin came right off, meat isn't overly fatty. My sides were prepped correctly

To start with no one even attended us for at least a few minutes which we felt was odd in the situation when half of the restaurant was empty and the service reputation I had in my mind for the restaurant. I ordered smoked turkey, a Not-so-naked potato, and a fruit bowl. The turkey was quite dry but tasted fine, although the sauces tasted great. The worst part was that my baked potato had a small bunch of hair (check the picture attached), which I did not expect from a restaurant like Jim N Nicks. I hope the restaurant takes care of such hygiene issues in the future.

Missing all sides, ask for extra Cucumber and tomatoes, got 2 of each in a $13 salad, so i guess the starting amount was 1 each, check your food before you leave

Had drinks and dinner and cannot say enough good things about the quality of service Jay provided. Had the BBQ salad with barbecue ranch dressing and it was quite tasty… and of course, the cheddar biscuits didn’t disappoint.

Wow! We had Chicken Tenders with Fries and Fried Catfish with Fries Coleslaw, and Cheese Biscuits! The BBQ SAUCE WOW! They had ORIGINAL CONCOCTION MADE FROM SCRATCH AUTHENTIC SOUTHERN GOODNESS BAR'B-Q SAUCE! It was tangy, spicy, sweet and a little on the loose side. We also tried the MONTGOMERY COUNTY BAR-B-Q SAUCE, a mayonnaise based saice that I found delectable! We used the sauces to dip our Fries and they were both ÀWESOME! The coleslaw was very good and tasted like they made it with grated onion! We would definitely go bboughtack if we're in the neighborhood! Also, we bought the BBQ and HONEY HABANERO BBQ SAUCE, very sweet and peppery hot, for Christmas gifts.
