I had the fried chicken, Mac& cheese with cabbage and the key lime cake! Absolutely soulful!! Staff was extremely kind! Happy Resurrection Sunday! My family & I are coming back!

It was just a disappointment.

My first time.The food was trash and they charged me 42 dollars for a oxtail and ham plate. The food was bland and untasteful. I'll never be back. I should have went to zaties. And it was so nasty on the inside. Floor not moped tables sticky

Very pleasant experience! Very welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. The ladies that was working was some of the sweetest ladies I’ve met! Definitely going back

I just had the fried chicken plate with okra and mac&cheese with bananapudding. All I can say is, wow, that was some delicious crispy chicken ? 10/10 ??
I dont leave restaurant reviews often, but this place deserves more recognition.

Drove an hour and fifteen minutes away to try this food and got there and they were closed. But did not have it updated online.

This is a black owned business and admittedly I should have known better. I used the rest room and there was a roach floating there like it was swimming in a pool. Once I got my food another one was crawling on the wall next to me. DIY, and go to Lowe’s they have great pest control products. The staff were really nice to me and my group. Sometimes it’s better to get take out.

Food wasn't tasty. Baked chicken leg quarter small & tasted old. Cornbread dressing wasn't good. Can turnip greens. Candy yams had no cinnamon or nutmeg flavor. Nice workers but very unorganized.

When I arrived my food was ready she was alone working so the door was locked I had to wait to be let in. The chicken was fried one piece was fresh the other was refried and burnt did not eat it. I don't have a problem waiting for fresh hot food very disappointed.

I hate to write reviews like this but I have to tell the people!! The food was flavorless and tasteless! I’ve never had oxtails with no salt or seasoning. The juices in the oxtails were so light, it looked and taste like they were cook in water and oil only! Pinto beans were flavorless! It was unbelievable! I also had Mac n cheese and it wasn’t good either and the turnip greens are clearly canned turnip greens. The people were nice but that food was disgusting. Overall, I was utterly disappointed!! I paid $30 for soul food with no soul!! I will not be eating here again!!

FIRE THE COOK!!!...I paid over $30, the food had no seasonings at all. I ordered fried corn, blackeye peas, yams and pork chops all with no flavor. My plate ended up in the trash. Nice people though. The food needs work.
