We have been twice this month and it’s as good as it has always been. Professional staff and excellent food that my family (including three year old) absolutely loves.

I did a takeout order. Food was promptly ready at the promised time. I ordered the combo steak and salmon. Cooked beautifully, my rare steak was indeed cooked rare! generous portion sizes in my opinion (hibachi meals I usually get 2 meals out of). Thank you!

We started back eating here. The best food is at the hibachi tables where they cook in front of you. We tried where they cook in the back and my wife had to send her rice back because it wasn't cooked right.

Only gets two stars because the table was clean.

Noodles were undercooked. Steak was made wrong. My friend tried to ask for a drink multiple times while our server was at our table and was blatantly ignored. Food was BLAND, I’m overall not happy with this place. To top it off, Valentine’s Day and they aren’t even busy. I should’ve known. Rice was good though, with yum yum sauce… 0/10 don’t recommend.

Who doesn’t want to pay $85 for the wrong order? I mean you could drive to Trussville and get Mizu or Konomi and your order would be completely right, but what fun is that? At Kobe, not only do you pay top dollar, but get the experience of your to-go order being a complete surprise to you!

Last time they gave my order away before I arrived, I re-ordered and they still messed it up. This time, the receipt was right, but the order in the box was all wrong. Why didn’t I check it before I left you ask? Because, they are capable of doing one thing and that’s tying a knot in a plastic bag no man can break.

I’m sure this won’t make a difference, but maybe I can help someone else out before they get the same experiences I have.

I have been waiting for over an hour and a half and haven’t gotten my food. No waiter checking on my table or giving me a refill. They only have 2 chefs working on a Saturday night. Probably won’t be back here anytime soon.
