Ate lunch and dinner there in the same day. Atmosphere was great, staff was great, and most of all the food was amazing. Marco knows how to do it! Strongly recommend to anyone interested in visiting Birmingham. We will be back specifically to eat here. Cheers

We had lunch before the Musical of Chicago and the food was outstanding!! It is a small restaurant in downtown with a specialty menu with wonderful flavors to die for! We got 3 plates and shared between us! Also the wine was outstanding! This should be on all to visit!

Our experience was truly exceptional, with outstanding cuisine, service, and ambiance. We commend the staff for providing my friend and me with a memorable evening. As newcomers, we valued the detailed menu explanation. The fritto misto and chicken scaloppini were expertly prepared, and the tiramisu was exquisite. We will certainly return.

We are from Atlanta and own a business in Birmingham and are so excited to visit Le Fresca every time in town! However we have a few suggestions we are big wine drinkers and the fact you need to get a good wine glass you need to order a certain wine is crazy. If the employees are braking the glasses hire a new dishwasher. Also adding on a credit card fee at a meal for two that is $200 is crazy build it into the price and will be better perceived! Great food and service at the bar but sometimes the little things and hopefully open for suggestions. Mike and Strickland

This place is always an A+ in my book. It’s by far my favorite restaurant to go to in Birmingham. I really enjoy that they are constantly rotating their menu to feature different items so even if you come back regularly, you can always try something different. For appetizers, we ordered the butternut squash ravioli and the Burrata. Both dishes were excellent. I highly suggest trying their ravioli. All of their pastas are homemade, but the ravioli is sent from heaven and simply irresistible. For drinks, we got an Aperol spritz And the lost plane which is an aged rum cocktail. For our main, we ordered the Ragu rigatoni And the braised short rib risotto. Also I ordered the pork chop with sautéed kale and butternut squash. I love their pork chops here because they don’t have that extremely porky taste to them. it’s a high cut of pork I can tell you that. They knocked both of these dishes out of the park. Our server crystal was amazing and extremely attentive and suggested a lot of dishes for us to try. The owner is super friendly and I like joking around with him. He’s always checking on tables and making sure the restaurant is in tiptop shape. I do understand that there are a plethora Of other Italian restaurants to try, but I always find myself back at this one. The Quality and attention to detail is unparalleled. Just as a sidenote, I strongly recommend that anyone reviewing restaurants on Google always put the name of your dishes and drinks in the review or on the pictures. I love trying some of the items that you all suggest but have a hard time, figuring out what it is specifically on the menu.

If you want REAL Italian...go here. First context clue is that all the actual Italians that live in Birmingham come here for food. Marco is an awesome owner, and the staff is off the hook incredible, I even had lasagna delivered to me when I was sick! I have never had a bad meal here, and the Chicken Cacciatore during the winter tastes exactly like what my Italian Grandfather used to make. This place is like home to me.
