I have been looking for an authentic Italian restaurant since I left my home town in Italy and I finally found Le’ Fresca! I felt like I was home again! Marco, the food and his staff are amazing! Highly recommend going there! We’ll be going back very often!
We arrived in Birmingham around 5 and called for reservations. We were told if we could come right away they could accommodate us. We both had the burrata. Our main course was the rigatoni and butternut squash ravioli. The ravioli was so delicious we ordered another! Marco the owner/chef was very personable. He’s truly living the American dream! Thank you.

I’ve never left a review for anywhere in the last 5 years. This place is absolutely amazing on all accounts. Luxury experience for an extremely reasonable price. Staff were impeccably professional. Please eat here.

I ordered a Margherita pizza to go. The person I spoke to on the phone was really cool and knowledgeable, and I appreciated that they let me just drive up for pickup without having to park—I stayed in the car and it was super convenient.
They made the pizza fresh, and I liked that they didn’t start it until I was about 5 minutes away, so it was hot when I got it. But sadly, the flavor didn’t hit the mark for me. It didn’t taste like a traditional Margherita pizza—the tomato sauce was barely there, and the crust had an odd salty taste I couldn’t quite place. The cheese had a creamy, almost Alfredo-like flavor, which threw it off from what I expected.
Despite the good reviews for the Margherita, I did not like it!

I went to Lé Fresca Thursday night. We called for a reservation and non were available but first come grab first serve offered seats at the bar so we arrived at maybe 5:30.
My husband dropped me off and went to park. I sat at corner of the bar. I asked the first bartender I spoke with if they had a signature spritz. He said : so would you like an aperol spritz maam. His tone seemed condescending but who knows. I replied : oh I was asking if you to have a unique variation on your menu. He stared coldly at me until he said we could make you a Hugo Spritz if you want. I said Hugo was too sweet for me and ordered an aperol spritz. He never came back. Eventually another man on the bartending staff appeared to be on his way to bring it when a woman wait staff member approached the bar as if to huddle up with the bar staff. They did lean in. She then pointed at me. She appreared urgent. Then, all who’d gathered looked my way. The only word I thought I heard was cancellation. Huddle relaxed. Bartender headed my way. As he approached I said : was there a cancellation that would allow us to take a table?
He looked at me and said verbatim :
Dont worry : no one’s coming for you right here.
His tone was more agressive passive than passive agressive.
I instantly felt very uncomfortable and put off on my heals.
He disappeared.
I sat there. I did not feel welcome.
I was waiting for my husband.
I went outside to wait for my husband.
I did not tell him. I will next time someone is disrespectful to me and i feel unwelcome.
I did not know what to do. I just wanted us to have a good time.
After he arrived we worked with a woman bartender who was pleasant.
The first two plates were not good.
The carpaccio was good. My risotto was good and my husband enjoyed his pasta.
We did not want desert.
Overall it was C work.
With a side of hostility.
I told my husband last night.
Suffice to say, we will never return.
Lastly : the restaurant smelled like filthy slip proof kitchen mats. So.

I discovered this a few months ago and have been back several times because of the delicious foods, great service, and just cozy enough atmosphere. The veal meatballs were sooo good! The short ribs were just as tasty. They serve up great drinks and the staff treats you like you’re truly a special guest. I met Marco, the owner, who was a joy to talk with.
