La Brisa Mexican Restaurant

This place certainly caters to the Latino crowd more than the gringos.

We have experienced this on several visits. They have a lunch buffet that draws a big Latino following. During a lunch visit one time we were all but ignored which was shocking and what made it worse is my wife is a blond headed green eyed Latino so we understood what they were saying while they talked about us and on this last visit there was only one other table taken besides ours. We experienced the same thing on this visit. Most likely, it will not be coming back. There are way too many Mexican restaurants to deal with this.

Server was sweet and a happy birthday song was unexpected.

We had a private Birthday Party with 50 people and the service was great! Wonderful room for a party.
The staff was very accommodating and I highly recommend. Maria was excellent to work with!

Great service and food!

Our favorite Mexican food in Birmingham. 5 of us go there regularly, ordering a variety of different foods each time and we're Never disappointed. Their salsa is freshly made and always just right. Chips always fresh, also.

Man,where to begin?The tacos were excellent but i ordered Carne asada steak that was very flavorable,the chips are perfect nice and thin with spicy salsa and the black beans I had with my steak was the best I ever tasted.Far from bland.Guacamole salad is terrific and the rice is awesome,just enough taste to make it delicious.Service is professional and very friendly.This may become my favorite Mexican restaurant.

We enjoyed our lunch immensely!!! Great salsa ( just a little spicy, which we loved). The chips were perfectly thin. Which is my favorite. We ordered lunch, and loved our burritos. This is a place we will revisit!!!

Came here for a quick in and out dinner. We arrived 10 min before 9 and was turned away and told they close at 9 even though their door, google, and site all say 930.
