Food is pretty good, but the service is awful. Takes forever to get your food and always love a place that doesn’t answer the phone so you can place a to go order.

Severely overrated. Maybe my expectations are too high as someone from the northeast, but I don't understand the hype. I first tried lags a few months back and it took 45+- minutes for my burger to arrive, only to find they forgot my fries upon getting to my car. The burger was middling and overcooked, Today, after much urging from locals, I return to be told they're too busy for my order. Maybe I'm missing something or I just don't get the nostalgia not being from here. I love the food scene in Birmingham in general, but the quest for a good burger has been incredibly difficult.

Omg thiw place is amazing!!! The food is hot and fresh and delicious! It's heaven in a burger! I got the patty melt and hubby got the Gerald attack (I think that's what it was called). I had a bite of his and both of ours were SPOT ON!!! Never getting a burger from anywhere else now knowing this place exists lol. I was only able to eat half of mine but don't let that fool you... my mouth wanted more but the sandwiches be thick lol.

Food was extremely overly salty! My family ordered a one chicken biscuit and two sausage and egg biscuits! Every single sandwich was awful. From the eggs, the biscuits, and meat was terrible! So disappointed.

I ordered pastrami rueben and fries. At $15, the rueben had 1-2 thin slices of pastrami. The $3 fries were frozen food service krinkles--pale, floppy, but covered in orange seasoning salt. Mediocre food at premium prices. Service was minimal--okay but indifferent. I went based on reviews and wanted to like this place, but I don't get the hype. I might try breakfast but would not return for lunch.

Great food! However, the menu advertises impossible patties and that's not what they give you.

Our 4-year old granddaughter wanted us to take her to “the little blue restaurant where you can eat inside or outside” for pancakes and bacon. She chowed down and so did we. I had a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. Fresh, flaky. Excellent. My husband helped with her 3 pancakes and bacon (although she ate a very good amount of it). Great, cute place. Nice folks.
