not enough vegan options and I can't keep up with when they have them or not. It's a very awkward feeling when you wait in line just to be told there's nothing you can eat in front of your friends. Oh well.

I’ve only experienced Last Call Bakery through June Coffee next door, but every time we do—it’s a win. They always have updated, seasonal pastries that are so good. My whole family still talks about them from all the way in Mississippi. Definitely worth a stop. You won’t regret it.

The kouign-amann was amazing! I'm from out of town & I make it a point to grab this caramelized, flaky croissant-muffin hybrid anytime I'm in the area. My waistline is thankful it's not often!

When people visit Birmingham and ask for recommendations, Last Call is always the first place I recommend!! Everything is always top-notch. My personal favorites are the kouign amann, the almond croissant, and the coffee scroll, but you can’t go wrong with anything. The staff and owner are all a joy to interact with, no matter what else is going on. Last Call Baking is worth every penny and then some.

One of the best bakeries I've visited, anywhere! I just moved away from Birmingham, but will make sure to visit again when I am back in town. This bakery is truly a gem and is worth getting up early for in the morning ♥️

Incredible pastries and customer service.

Pro Tip: Arrive early. Last Call has gotten incredibly popular, so there’s pretty much always a 10-30 person line formed before they open on Sat/Sun. Absolutely worth the wait!

Easily the best croissant I’ve had in the state of Alabama.

The guy at the counter was so friendly! He suggested the birmingham fog latte and it was wonderful. The place was packed when I went so most of the seating was full. They do have a patio that I'll have to take advantage of when the weather warms up.

Get here early on a Saturday. We waited in line about 20 min to get into the bakery. The aroma of butter, bread and sugar hits you as you walk in. Get the Morning glory roll. It's pillowy dough baked to perfection and coated in cinnamon sugar. Their croissants were also delicious. This is a grab and go place so be thinking of where you want to go eat these. We opted to go next door to June's coffee and grab coffee to pair with the pastries.
