I'm coming from Charlotte NC with a group of friends to spend the weekend here in Birmingham AL. The cashier at a store recommended this joint to me and I decided to try it.
When we arrived at this club, no one welcomed us or thanked us, much less good night. ?
The security man took my ID and urged me aggressively. I didn't take any notice of his aggressiveness because he was just doing his job very well.
Upon entering, the cashier lady charged us $20. per person. It is not my habit to carry cash and they do not accept cards. That is fraudulent activity. ? The cashier lady got upset with me because I asked her “What kind of club doesn't accept cards?” The lady was very rude with her attitude.
We got a VIP table with the group of friends and ordered drinks for everyone. Not a single waiter showed up at our table at any time. We had to buy our drinks at the bar. Terrible service. I ordered a hookah and the employee told me that they are not good. ?
We left and when we left, the security man tried to touch a girl's legs and her boyfriend asked him to respect her. This review has already gone on for a long time... to finish, the security guy threatened to hit us and then another security officer arrived (an officer) who treated us worse. The officer should have been reminded that his job is to protect the public; Don't push and threaten us.
Notes: The DJ is not good. They smoke cigarettes inside (eww). The bathrooms are small and dirty (typical).

I will give a minus zero to this place.. the bathrooms don't work properly.Toilet dispensers don't hold the tissue. There is no paper towels to dry hands and soap to wash hands, and when it gets too full there is no cleaning person to at least maintain bathrooms clean.If you want to sit you have to pay close to $100 and the sitting and tables are in bad shape.Now they open Fridays for the Hispanics and is a disgrace how awful and bad shape is that place . I don't understand why bar owners don't keep their bars up to date. The only good thing there is the ladies that work there. They are so sweet and courteous and helpful.. other than that I wish I can meet the owner or owners to show all that is wrong with it.. but I doubt they would even read this. As long people go there and make money they don't care one bit. Next time will go and take pictures and video to show how awful this place is. And event the people that go there don't have the decency to at least say anything here about the place... It looks like a bar from a third world country.

I went to Lux Lounge with a few friends on a Saturday night. We paid for a section prior to getting to the club. Once we arrived, our waitress didn’t greet us properly. The initial bottle that we ordered wasn’t available. Not to mention one of my friends ordered a hookah but never received it. Everyone else who came after us kept receiving hookahs. The waitress wasn’t persistent at all when it came to making us feel comfortable in there establishment. We ordered a drink tower and we requested that we have a tequila sunrise. The waitress comes back and says to us that they don’t have any orange juice or pineapple juice. It’s very unprofessional to be missing items from your bar on a Saturday night. I highly wouldn’t recommend this club to anyone. The service was terrible and everything was delayed.

The environment was very hostile and closed off. My friend took me out to have a goodnight and when we walked it there was so one. It was a slow night so it wasn’t that much fun. We danced for a little bit and realized no one was having fun so I recommend somewhere else and paid for everyone to get it at the other place. We had so much fun at the other place and completely regret wasting our money here. Definitely will NOT be back. And will warn others to stay away.
