Pleased with items we ordered for thanksgiving dinner. Turkey & gravy were good and much easier than we could do. The STAR was the sweet potato soufflé- outstanding and everyone loved it. Cornbread dressing also good - not as good as our cornbread oyster dressing but perfect for those who don’t want oysters. We go here for lunch often so I knew the dressing & sweet potato.
Today was our first visit to this wonderful cafe. Great tasting "down home" cooking. Everyone was super friendly. We will definitely be repeat customers!
Service was very nice. Employees were very polite, friendly and helpful. Family friendly atmosphere. Food good.
Wonderful food, welcoming staff and a warm southern environment. A great place for a Sunday afternoon meal with family and friends. The fried green tomatoes are some of the best around.
Omg! The food is the best. I never leave a crumb behind. ???? will return asap!
Excellent food, excellent service! Definitely going to make Magnolia Cafe a weekly stop. ?
Excellent home cooking & very friendly staff.
We went on a Friday and they were pretty busy. Food was really good. Loved their sweet potatoe casserole and the collards. You had a choice between 3 meats and about 8 to 10 vegetables. (I had 4 and all were good). Yes it is a little pricey for lunch, but we'll worth it as it's so hard to find good home style cooking. I'm very picky on my tea and was so glad I tried it here! The 2 men who were working there were both very friendly and pretty efficient. They kept apologizing for the wait because they were so busy, but honestly it wasn't bad. Sorry for this long review, but I noticed other reviews and felt like some were very misleading. I wish we could give half stars because this is actually a 4 and a half star kind of place (unless you want fancy)
Food was very good. However, the price for one meat and 2 and a meat and 3 with a small tea was around $31. Meat was a good portion; however, the vegetables were small portions. Way over priced for what we had. I can go other places and get the same quality food for around $15 to $18. Unless you have a bottomless pocketbook select another place to go.
Great little meat and three place! Come support them!

Great vegetarian options with lots of flavor ??
We found this cafe because it was close to our hotel. I had the fried fish filet, sweet potatoes casserole, cream corn and dressing. My spouse had the lemon chicken, butter beans and dressing. The sweet tea was delicious. The staff was very friendly. We visited with the manager/owner ? Who made other recommendations while we were in town. What a friendly and personable guy. I would highly recommend eating here. If you are a local you should frequent this place.
Food is delicious and the people working are always kind and helpful! Prices are not high for the quality and serving sizes you get. Well worth trying bc you will be back :)
Great spot for an appetite of any size. The service here is outstanding. Prices are decent for the quality. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.
Great place for meat and veggies
