I ordered the lemon tawook through Door Dash today and was very disappointed. They gave me a piece of a green pepper as my veggies, I asked for garlic sauce and they said it couldn’t be added to my order and no cutlery! My soup was in a small container and spilled all over when I tried to open it. Thirty dollars gone down the drain. First time ordering delivery and more than likely my last. Will be looking for another Mediterranean restaurant in the future or I’ll come into the restaurant and pick up my order. I have ordered from here before and had no complaints so maybe today was a bad day.🤷🏾♀️

Had a really good experience, first time going to a Greek restaurant. It was recommended to me by a friend and I’m glad I took her advice. Food was out of this world and the service was amazing. Had a blast chatting to Aj he was very friendly and served the food out in a matter of minutes. We got a kabob beef plate and a shawrma combo and it was amazing.

Best meal I've had in months. I've been living in Birmingham for my whole life and today was my first visit to Markarios. It's a cut above all of the other Mediterranean restaurants in town. I was blown away at how fresh the salad was and how tender and juicy the chicken was. Totally delicious.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Birmingham area. We have been eating here since 2011 and it always hits the spot. The chicken and hommous is absolutely delicious and unlike any flavor I’ve ever had. We order that every single time. We also love the shawarma wraps for a quick lunch. Any of the plates are easily enough for two meals. I love the shawarma plate and my husband loves the lamb chops. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything you order. Definitely get a smoothie too! Friendliest people and a very cozy spot.

I bought a baked potato. It wasn’t up to par the food didn’t have any flavor like I see in all the other reviews only thing was good the food was hot that’s all I can say it wasn’t a great experience here I’ve had a lot of food from Indian restaurants and this one was not it. 🫤😞😞😡
