I had the Ahki’s 2 Meat Large Platter with chicken and lamb over rice, and it was fantastic! The meats were tender and flavorful, perfectly paired with the White Magic and Spicy Don't Play With Me sauces. The White Magic added a creamy, tangy touch, while the Spicy sauce brought just the right amount of heat. The portion size was generous, and every bite was delicious. The service was great, and the flavors were on point. Highly recommend Ahki’s for an unforgettable meal!

AJ the owner was very personable polite and courteous and attentive. Made us feel welcome just like we were family. The food was amazing, and I travel all over the eastern United States with work. It was just like eating in New York City. The portions were so generous I could only eat half of it. Very cool NYC street vibe! I will definitely be back next time I am in Birmingham. Shalom Shalom. Very good food, and the owner is very nice. Hot sauce is great, although very hot. Bbq sauce is good as well.
We had the pleasure of having AJ behind the counter when we wandered into Ahki's tonight... he spent time teaching us about the history of his most popular dish (home made by his mom, who learned to cook it in Egypt). Between us, we tried every combo... and they were absolutely flavorful and delicious! So fresh!! Highly recommend!

I got the steak and lamb combo plate with white sauce and homemade BBQ sauce and it was some of the best filing places to eat it's worth every dollar and the large plate is about 15$ and lasted me for dinner and lunch the next day
