REVISITED- Markys graciously sent an apology and a gift card, so we returned. THIS visit all was as it should be. It's a pretty typical fast-casual place. The burgers seem to be the best choice on the menu. Never seems to be anyone obviously 'in charge' on premises. Dunno. ORIGINAL POST- We've been here a few times before, always fine. This past Sunday 9-22 was a major disappointment. I ordered a quesadilla with added chicken and it was inedible. My wife tried a bite and concurred. Something in it was spoiled. It had a very nasty taste. I've had this at Markys and Zoes Crestline many times, it was an aberration. Well, things happen. The real disappointment was the reaction from staff. I carried it to the counter and engaged a cashier. My MAIN point was that the spoiled ingredient needed to be identified and pulled from service. I was very clear that Something was rancid. I expected to get a visit at our table from someone....nobody came so I tried to find out who was in charge. This was met with millennial babbling. I hope nobody become ill. My wife had the same chicken on her salad and declared it was Sysco quality. I tried some (I was hungry) and it was indeed a stringy overcooked mess. Huh. As I said, we've hade good experiences before. Hopefully this isn't a trend.

Disappointing. My husband and I left today, from eating this food. We ordered food, great clean atmosphere, customer service was great. The food unfortunately, was not good, close to disgusting actually. Not close to being anywhere near decent Greek food. I was very disappointed and sadly my stomach started hurting after about 15 mins after I left, so I will not be returning.

First time customer and will be the last time. Had a meal there, it was great but I ended up in the hospital from food poisoning. It took me out very bad for one week, I couldn’t even be able to walk to the bathroom with a very dangerous low blood pressure all from the food poisoning I got from this restaurant. Their food tasted good and was great.. but clearly something else is wrong. I don’t have my receipt so I can’t prove my purchase.

Fresh, healthy, and served in a wonderfully clean atmosphere, it’s my go-to spot in town. I love knowing that every visit guarantees fresh, homemade food that’s both delicious and healthy. The service is always friendly and quick, with a keen attention to detail that sets Marky’s apart. Highly recommend the smash burgers, chicken rollup & spinach quesadilla and can’t leave without chicken salad & pimento cheese from the togo cooler which I snack on all week!

Ordered the Marky’s special online. Advertised as “smash burgers” these patties were surprisingly thick. The meat and toppings were good, but the buns left much to be desired. The fries were fantastic, especially if you like thinly sliced fries.
