Been wanting to come here for awhile. Had a doctor’s appointment this morning that lasted till the afternoon. Picked up two #3 combos with lots of sauce.Got the tenders spicy w/ fries, slaw and Mac n cheese. The fries were good especially with the old bay seasoning. The slaw was bland and the Mac n cheese was dry. But I had extra sauce leftover and put it all on the sides. My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch and would come back here in a heartbeat!

I read the other reviews on "best chicken fingers ever" and was really excited! I'll start by saying the chicken was somewhat dry-ish, and didn't really have a lot of flavor on its own. That being said, other than the price and small portions for the sides, the rest made up for it. I ordered the 4 strip 2 sides 2 sauces and a drink combo, which was $14. I chose to add one more sauce cuz I couldn't decide what sounded better. Glad I did because that extra sauce ended up being my favorite! I had opted in for the black garlic ranch, the lemon dill remoulade, and the garlic parmesian. The sauces were all so uniquely different and killer! Made me want to go back to try all the other sauces!...maybe that's why the chicken is bland, to highlight the sauce? ? As for the chicken strip, I did opt for the original as opposed to spicy. The breading was decent, noticed that they absolutely doused them in a salt mix, maybe to try to bring some flavor to them. For the sides, I got the tots (which you could also customize flavors for...I chose BBQ, which turns out means they also drench them in a salty seasoning bath.) They were tasty, but after a few bites it was just so much salt that it wasn't as enjoyable. The other side I got was the mac&cheese. It was surprisingly creamy! My only complaint about the mac is there was so little of it! Haha it came in a 2 or 3oz to-go ramekin, as you can see in the picture. For $14 I kinda was hoping for more. The woman, however, who was taking my order was super sweet. She was patient while I was making my choices and even offered suggestions. There is outdoor seating in the alley that's utilized also by the patrons of the hidden coffee shop, but still plenty of seats available. I'd probably come back to try more sauces and sides!

Recently went to McFly's on the recommendation of a friend, and I was not disappointed! The tenders were juicy and well seasoned. I got the mac and cheese and the collard greens, and they were both delicious. This is definitely my new go to chicken spot in Bham

Went to McFly's after seeing several adds on fb. Its a cute little clean/friendly place, kind of expensive for chicken strips and the sides were very small but I still loved it and recommend people to try it out. Majority of there food is on the spicy side. If you stop to eat there you must get collard greens as a side OMG!!!!! Yum. I got the 5 piece chicken strip box and had left overs so it is filling. Definitely one of my new fav places in Birmingham.

After lecture this evening, a group of us came to McFlys for some dinner. I was not expected to be greeted and welcomed by a wonderful crew. Ledra, Champ, and Cameron took great care of us nerds. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was fantastic, and we all shared some good laughs. Will definitely be coming back here again. Keep up the great work!

McFly's has the best chicken fingers in town. Make sure you eat at the back courtyard adjacent to Unplugged. (it's right down the alley). Also, come hungry.

very disappointed in our food me and my daughters went to McFlys lastnight we will never return. Ckn fingers were undercook and we got it to go so we didn't know until we got home. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!

Chicken tender and tots. Spicy chicken tenders had a nice dry rub that added a nice moderate amount of heat. No over the top hot options for people with an addiction to hot sauces. A sizable list of sauces and sides to compliment. I liked the sweet honey mustard and bourbon BBQ sauces to complement the spicy tenders.
Cameron who works here told me to try their fries with both ranch and salt & vinegar seasoning, and it was absolutely KILLER. If you don’t know what to get, let Cameron help you decide. You can trust this man’s taste

The food always comes out hot, fresh, and delicious.What stands out to me the most is the employees here. They always greet you with a smile and treat you with kindness. It makes all the difference.Menu is a tad pricey, but you get a generous amount of food - quality food.I love that they offer a discount meal to UAB employees and students.Definitely try out this spot!

This is the best chicken sandwich I have ever had and the second best isn’t even close. I will never go back to Chick-fil-A or Zaxby’s again after tasting the best fried chicken I’ve had in years. From the toasty potato roll, to the delicate breading, to the exquisite white barbecue sauce, it’s just delicious. Try it, and you’ll be amazed at how good chicken can taste.

This place is a really delicious chicken finger joint. We decided to order to go do to the size of the inside and our order was ready fairly quickly. Our chicken fingers were made fresh while we were waiting. The sauce options are amazing and each is made in house per the person assisting us. I did find the chicken to be a little on the saltier side for my liking but overall it was a tender and juicy chicken finger. The potato salad was fantastic and Mac and cheese was alright. Overall, I enjoyed my meal here and am glad I finally got to knock it off my list.
