The staff is very nice! I really like that they make everything to order. The fish was really good. The bowl was okay, I would recommend adding hot sauce or something else to go because the sauce they give is not spicy or super flavorful.

In the mere month and some change Me Gusta has been open, they have saved me many times from quitting my job because I know I can always look forward to coffee and delicious pastries. I go almost every other day and they’re always friendly, they brew fresh real espresso for their drinks, and their pastries are made in house and fresh every day. Absolutely underrated gem of downtown Birmingham

I love this place! I get breakfast and lunch here quite often. Staff are so friendly and they have delicious food. My only complaint is they don’t have bagels for breakfast. Otherwise I highly recommend the UAB bowl and avocado toast.
