Service was great, food was ok.. meatloaf was burnt i know their menu states that the meatloaf is seared, but this was a little too much. Pot pie was bland.

Food and atmosphere was excellent... only 2 things was wrong... our server kept forgetting some things and the floor had a trash like paper towel on the ground and needed to be swept up. We will be back next time.

The food was absolutely amazing and also serves was also absolutely amazing. Food tasted even better than what is looks even though it looked absolutely amazing.

I visited Metro Diner in Trussville on Mother’s Day and of course expected a wait, and that was okay. However after my husband and I were seated they took our orders fairly quickly. They then seated 2 different parties of 6 to 8 and then a local comedian came in. They all got their food before us. We asked about our order a couple of times. When we spoke with the manager she was rude and very matter of fact, and her excuse was they had a new system. This experience made us feel as if we were being overlooked because we were not in the majority. The comedian made sure everyone knew who he was so he got VIP treatment, while my husband and I sat there waiting patiently waiting for food that never came. We cancelled our food and we were asked to pay for our drinks, and in my opinion they should have been free, but we paid and left hungrier than when we arrived.
