Had burger pretty good. Kind of disappointed there is no picture or mention of Marty. He was awesome and made Marty's what it was...still it's a cool place, nice vibe good burger.

I am writing this review as I sit here. First off, you can tell that the Trussville locals have found them a safe space. This is a 21+ older to enter establishment. It has a legit bar feel which I don't necessarily love or hate. Most folks patronizing seems like "regulars."I came here because I had been meaning to try MTV( Marty's Trussville) out but just hadn't gotten around to it. I use to really love Marty's GM (Irondale location) as I was a regular there. It's kind of loss some of its charm so I haven't really been going there. Moving along. I was starving so i immediately ordered my food! Goat Popper add bacon .... It was delicious or maybe I was just insanely hungry. I enjoyed the burger. I just kept the house chips bc I wasn't interested in paying $3.50 for fries. The house chips were cool... a little greasy but doable.The menu isn't that big but there are a few decent options. I would say that this was an okay visit but I don't know if I will be running back here anytime soon. Don't order the peach /raspberry frozen drink ... it's so nasty. Just stick to beer and cocktail type drinks. Service was cool and the guy who helped me seem newish .... I wish I loved it here but I just didn't.

Goat Popper was way too good (props to the kitchen), and we had the most charming bartender ever slingin’ the best drinks and maintaining a legit vibe all the while. I will definitely be coming back asap.
If you have not been, then you must try!!! It is EXACTLY what we wanted. If you want a place that's friendly, like they've known you your whole life, not only the business but the patrons! A place that is reasonably priced with good food, happy atmosphere! Karaoke and more! Kitchen open late! Fast service! Definitely our place!!!

I work about a mile from here, I rarely feel safe in Trussville as a Queer Woman. So this place is a welcome addition to the Neighborhood. I remember going to Marty's PM all the time when I was in my 20's after a shift. So I was shocked to see the banner one day when I was picking up some Chinese take-away for lunch. First of all let me tell you this is a Safe Space for LGBTQ people. Sarah, Leslie, and Austin are legends. The whole staff is so sweet and the people are really friendly. There's another really cute guy who tends bar and I am so bad with names it kills me. I popped in a few weeks after they opened and I'm now a weekly regular. Best of all, NO ONE UNDER 18 Allowed! So no kids running around. It's a dream come true.The bar has a great selection of canned and bottled beers with a Happy Hour that helps your wallet. A good selection of wine and liquor to. No draft as of yet, but ya don't need it.My Usual order is a IPA and a Shot of Fernet. But I can never leave without a Resting Peach Face Frozen Cocktail or a Bushwhacker. Ask for a Fernet Topper on you're Bushwhacker. I call it the Emmy Jane Special, no one else does XD. Trust me it works. I love the Egg Rolls and The Burgers. The Dutch boy is a fave, but the Big Mick is also delish. They have a lot of weekly events, Karaoke, Trivia, Live Music. Follow their Facebook for their yummy weekly specials. Save me a Seat at the Bar on Thursdays! Tell um Emily sent you for a free absolutely nothing :) .

The food is great, the service is great, staff are friendly. Love coming here. Karaoke night can get a little loud but that's expected.
