The waiter for our area (it was empty when we got here), walked a group in about 5 min after us and deliberately did not turn around to acknowledge us here. He came and went three times until eventually I asked the hostess was that guy our waiter or is he a personal one for that table. She said she’s sorry she’s not sure what’s going on. Fast forward, we still have no service, it’s 4 on a Saturday and it’s NOT packed or even close. We have now been sitting here 20 min. Saw a waiter come 3x and go. Not sure but I’ve never had this type service here before.

Seems like it could be a decent place. Drink was good. They were really busy so you kinda felt bad for the bartenders. But I ordered queso and it was supposed to be white with ground beef and it was clearly yellow with no ground beef but they tried to convince me otherwise, I’ll let you be the judge. Probably not somewhere I’ll ever return just based off that first impression.

I absolutely love this location the food and service is always superb! I love the burgers and food but the staff makes you want to come back! Dana is an awesome server and I love getting her. Please remember, to tip your servers, that is how they make their money. Servers do not even receive min wage so please remember to tip this staff with what you can so it will be here for years to come.

The guy who waited on us was super nice. The way they weaved the fries picked wasn’t how I liked them so he did coins for us. Made great drinks too. The food was ok. Not anything you wouldn’t expect from a bar. Overall was really good experience!

I regularly patronize this establishment, but had been deterred from visiting this particular location due to prior experiences of poor customer service.. nonetheless, tonight's visit was marked by exceptional service from our waitress, complemented by attentive staff members and a welcoming atmosphere that included a personal greeting from the cook.

My daughters and I stayed in Birmingham for the night before flying home to Texas the following day. We chose to eat at Mugshot's because it was just outside our hotel door. The food was good, but the service was special. Jade B. was our server and she went above and beyond what was expected of her. Even going out of her way to make sure my daughter's flight home wasn't ruined when she forgot her AirPods at our table once we were finished and heading out for the evening. When staying over in Birmingham during our travel's, we will be sure to go back to Mugshot's just for the pleasure of Jade being our server.

Update: we gave Mugshots in Birmingham another shot since we love the Mugshot back home. We had a much better experience. The food was great, the service was exceptional.

I think maybe I went on a bad day. I really wanted to enjoy the chicken Alfredo pasta, but it was just a little too greasy for me. Also there was numerous wet spots on the floor. Maybe from a roof leak? Not certain, but it was less than desirable.

Walked in at 3:25 PM. The host said that they do not sit customers during shift change. More customers kept walking in and backed up the walk way, therefore causing people to wait out in the cold. You get paid to stand there during shift change and do nothing? Staff just seems lazy as there were already other tables that were seated.

My family and I visited Mugshots expecting a pleasant dining experience, but we were left disappointed after waiting 20 minutes without being served. Despite our patience, no one came to take our order, so we finally approached one of the servers. She informed me that it was only 2 servers working; that had to do the bar as well. This only added to the confusion and lack of organization. This level of poor service is unacceptable for an establishment that prides itself on hospitality and with a bowl game in town. Clear communication and efficient service should be a priority to ensure guests feel valued and have an enjoyable experience while visiting the area.

We had a great visit to Mugshots. We were in town for the Birmingham Bowl. The food was great. I highly recommend the Bleu Buffalo Salad. Not an extensive list of beers on tap, but something for everyone.

The only complaint I have is that you have to pay to park. I hate going anywhere that you have to pay to park but nonetheless that has nothing to do with the taste, flavor, or quality of the food nor the service. Once we paid to park and walked to the restaurant there was no wait. We were seated immediately & shortly after our server came over & took our order. Then in no time she came back bringing with her one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Delicious! & their onion rings are fantastic! Definitely a thumbs up from me.
