If anyone ever worked for their money, the Hontzas family sure has. First of all, they’re usually very busy but they sure know how to keep the line moving and get everyone seated promptly. In the food line there’s something for everyone. This is one of the few places where I could get all vegetables. The neighborhood is a bit rough but don’t let that discourage you from going bc people from all sides of town eat here.

Contrary to popular opinion, I don't think all "meat & 3" food is the same. While I very much appreciate the efficiency of Niki's West, I'm in the camp that believes fried okra should be an everyday occurrence. And for me, during my last visit, the Mac & cheese was too much too salty; the cornbread muffin rock hard. Place can park 200 and serve 1000+ in a day. AND THEY DO IT REGULARLY!!!
Only gig? Location!!!!! The absolute worst part of town!!!
