My husband and I came in for lunch and when I say 5s across the board I mean that! The food was Amazing!!!! I had to look in the back to make sure my granny wasn’t back there cooking! The customer service was Outstanding! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly! My husband had the catfish and I had the pork chops, you get more than what you pay for so lunch will be dinner! We will be back!!!

Always busy on the weekends! Come early before they sell out of everything!

Food bit overpriced But taste great and you definitely get your moneys worth.
I'll definitely come again.

It's everything!

The Food was amazing.The ladies in the front was super sweet.. the cake was great.. The punch Was good . I found my grandma was back there cooking. That’s how good this was.

My client was going on about how good the food was but unfortunately I didn’t have the same experience as she did.My family and I went this Sunday.We order 3 pork chop plates (which was fried so hard it was unbelievable) the collard greens weren’t done, the Mac n cheese was missing the cheese.We had beef tips and rice that had to to much thyme in it but taste better than anything we had from there. The banana pudding was running.It was so unorganized and they couldn’t get our order right for anything and the cashier was nasty towards us cause they couldn’t get it right smh. I will never eat there again.The owner said we were getting free sides for being new customers and that didn’t happen either.We were very disappointed especially after spending over a $100 and hearing good things about them.The worst soul food I ever tasted.

Delicious food, generous servings, but if there are multiple orders, be sure and check before leaving. That is my only complaint. I love the place the food is awesome and worth the drive.💜

I got the liver and onion. I must say that plate was so full it would not close. The food was so delicious. He is a great chef.

My husband and I stopped after googling soul food near me. This is a meat and 3 with buffet style, but you can order fried chicken and fried pork chops to order.. I had dressing , candied yams , mac n cheese and greens . My husband had fried chicken wings , mac n cheese and cabbage ..Both came with cornbread . Cornbread is sweet. The stars of the show were the fried chicken , greens and mac n cheese. They were delicious. The rest was good but nothing special. I will come back to try other items. The ladies who served were super friendly..

Recently we had the opportunity to visit this restaurant by chance and bam was it delicious??? We did not have to season any of the food just that great. If I ever go back to Birmingham we will most definitely stop in for another taste. It was off the chain excellent. Btw i had the smothered chicken with rice cornbread green beans and Mac n cheese and fruit punch to drink, the hubby had smothered pork chop both had plate full for a second meal.
