Long wait, while several tables were open. Poor unapologetic service with no sense of urgency. We requested menus while waiting to be seated and had the children select their dinner. Once seated we ordered three children's meals at the first appearance of our server. She held their order until she was able to make it back to us to get the adult orders. She brought the wrong salad dressing because blue cheese and ranch are interchangable apparently. My food was good once it made it to the table, but no one else in my party was pleased. Our visit lasted nearly two hours which in my opinion is unacceptable when they aren't in a wait when you arrive. The manager seemed genuinely concerned, and will hopefully take action to remedy the problems we experienced during our visit.
Horrible service. We waited 20 minutes to be seated and then a hour and 45minutes for our food. When we asked for more lemonade freeze drinks it took them an hour to even bring us those. No one bothered to tell us what was going on or why the food was taking so long. Our mistake was staying after about a hour in. When I asked for the manger once we were done eating and I very politely tried to explain the situation to her she was very unsympathetic. She did state that they had a lot of large parties and all she could do was give us a 20% discount(which is better then nothing I suppose, especially since according to the waitress the other manger only wanted to give us 10%). My main issue was her very passive and what do you want me to do about it attitude. Had someone even bother to explain to us what was going on at some point doing our wait or given us an apology for the delay after the fact it would have been even better than the 20% discount given. At this point the experience was so horrible I never want to set foot in any O'charley's location again.
I used to like this establishment. The bartenders during the day are great. When my coworker and I would go, they would know our orders by memory. But today we went to get food for dinner, we saw a cockroach crawling on the bar top. I will not be eating here again. I am warning all future patrons.
The hostess was rude. After being told there was a twenty five minute wait, I stepped outside and then returned and waited. After a period of time she called the people that had came in after us. When I asked why she didn't call me she became annoyed stating she thought I had left. She begrudgingly seated us. The waiter was new but willingly answered questions and graciously served us. I was pleased with his service and the food. It appeared the restaurant was short staffed at the time of my visit. Hopefully, it will be better the next time I visit.
1. They forgot to put our name down when we asked when a table would be ready so we waited an extra 30 minutes or so. 2. My friends knife in his cutlery had a dried onion on it from a previous meal. 3. Forgot to bring a spoon for my sister's soup so she ate more than half of it with a fork as best she could. 4. They got my order wrong and had to remake it. 5. My sister's ribs felt like they just pulled them out if the fridge do we asked if they could be heated. 6. They charged us for a side that we did order but never got. Even after talking to a manager to void the charge, which the manager said he did, the charge still went through. This makes our family sound pretentious, but we are very understanding people. My sister and I worked in food service so we know the struggle, but this was just too much. We have marked off O'Charleys as a never to return place, sadly.
