O'Henry's in Homewood is a really cool coffee shop. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. But what makes this place extra special is the staff – they're all so friendly and welcoming.
You can tell they really care about their customers. It's so rare these days to find such genuine service, especially with technology being so advanced.
I want to give a major shoutout to Lillian – she's amazing! She always makes me feel right at home whenever I stop by. I highly recommend O'Henry's to anyone looking for a warm and friendly atmosphere.

🤢🤢🤢I’ve always loved this O’Henry’s. The staff is incredible and the coffee was always good. However, there were at least 7-8 fruit flies in my friend’s coffee. Ownership needs to step in and take action. It was not just the coffee. I could not sit and study without fruit flies swarming us. We had to pack up and leave. Such an unpleasant experience. Two star review ONLY because the staff offered to remake our coffees.
we opened our hot coffee and there was more than 5 dead flies in it. there are flies flying everywhere. the employee was nice enough to compensate but the owner needs to do something about it.
we opened my coffee and there were more than 5 dead flies in it. there are flies inside the whole coffee shop. the owner should definitely do something about it.
The employees at O’Henry coffee shops in Birmingham are always friendly and courteous however, ownership obviously isn’t because they can’t be bothered to post prices for any of their drinks or food items. This is incredibly disrespectful and uncourteous to their customers. Why should we continue to support a business that takes advantage of their customers like this?. They are just counting on people to pay without even thinking about how much something is. I just paid $5.95 for a muffin, that is obviously ridiculous. And on top of that, they want us to tip too.

I’ve been going to this ohenrys for a very long time, as well as other Ohenrys in general but this was my home store and used to be, all of the workers were very kind and always happy (this is coming from someone who works at a coffee shop) but within the last few months its seemed like every new person either hated their life or just hated the customers, probably both lol. Anyway i stopped coming here because why would i get coffee from someone who is rude so I started going to the one off 280 (everyone is much nicer/happier there) however I came back to this one because i had a meeting down the road and the person who took my order was so rude, she sighed and rolled her eyes when she came to the register and her tone was so rude as if i was a nuisance. i hate to see this place go so down hill with all the rude workers

Slowest coffee shop on the planet. Customer service is not a strong point here. Go here only if you have time to waste.
Update August 18, 2024: Super slow motion - again. Who trains these people ? Oh, wait....nobody !!!
Sorry, but "gourmet" coffee has evolved into a "fast food" business. O'Henry, my friend, you ain't evolving with the times. Please train you staff to be more efficient....the wait and lack of customer service is a big problem and you're in a pretty competitive environment where people are starting to watch their money, remember ?
Probably stick with Starbucks moving forward...unless I have significant time to spend waiting and wondering. Do better please!

$6.55 for a single muffin? Come on…that is ridiculous.
O'Henrys isn't just famous for its drinks, the atmosphere is second to none - especially this location. You walk in and feel as though you're in a European Country. Last visit, a couple came in with a photographer to stage an engagement shoot. The service is always excellent, and the selection is quite diverse. All-around stellar experience.

Busy little coffee spot. Seating inside, outside, and a few spots upstairs.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops and I typically buy their beans to use at home! The atmosphere is very nice.
However the food leaves something to be desired for the price. For instance the BLT sandwich at almost $9 is a small piece of toastee white bread, a half piece of bacon on each half of bread small lettuce and some tomatoe. So if you're looking for an actual breakfast sandwich to have with your coffee this isn't it.

Very busy O'Henry's location, but staff are always patient, kind, and accommodating. I order ahead with some frequency, and they always have my order ready when I arrive, and even double check for accuracy.
