Breakfast here was yummy. I had the big pancakes and they were soft and buttery. The place was crowded so we had to wait. Service was fast once we sat down. I would come back for sure.

After 3 years of eating here we have to stop.

Mariah does not enjoy waiting on us. She is not welcoming nor attentive. Today we waited 15 minutes and watched her walk by us and even served the couple next to us. We never received beverages. Now we know this is intentional and not our imaginations, Mariah. Pity.

I hate to say it but the food is disgusting. I literally didn’t like anything but the pancakes and that’s only because they had strawberries and whipped cream because without that those pancakes don’t taste like anything smh 😒.The grits taste like they had garlic powder in them, no salt, and they were not creamy at all. The eggs had no taste. Even the bacon was extra salty. My steak was chewy with no flavor. The coffee was ok. I would never come back here again. The service was decent but the food is a no for me. Actually the worst breakfast I’ve ever had.

Ordered an online order and once we arrived to pick up the food we were informed that the online ordering was down yet they still took money from the card for the order place. Then said that the money would fall off in a few days so that was a terrible experience with a restaurant. What if that was all the money someone had at the time? Why is your online ordering up if something is wrong with the system. Will be back to update whether we receive the money back.

It was a little noisy but other than that, the food was as great as I have always known it to be in. The service was totally on point. I wish there was one in Montgomery.

Good food and service..giant omelets that will take you a few days to eat on and great pancakes..only thing I didn’t care for the building is old and rustic but I guess that’s to be expected being in downtown of Birmingham but it’s clean and they have great staff there that make it pleasant and enjoyable.

Stopped in with my husband after our appt at UAB MFM and oh my goodness was it worth it. I would give this place 1000 stars if I could. The food was so tasty. I got a Veggie omelette and added sausage, with a side of butter grits and breakfast potatoes. Everything was seasoned and well portioned. The omelette was huge like a burrito, VERY tasty, reminded me of the ones I had up North… but better. Our server, Moriah was so kind and checked on us often. Made sure we had refills on our sweet tea and also gave us two to go. If I’m ever back in this area I will be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!
