As an unexpected overnight visitor to Birmingham, this restaurant was recommended to us. We were pleasantly surprised with the pricing, the quality of the food, the fantastic service and the atmosphere. I’d go to Birmingham again just to have breakfast here.
Amazing home cooked food. Kind of crowded, with tables close together. Great atmosphere, as it seems everyone is happy with the service and the excellent food. Omlettes are huge, fluffy, oven-baked. The cinnamon almond French toast was amazing. Coffee with cream, means coffee with real cream. Not milk. Not those little plastic creamers. A side of real cream. Servers were friendly and attentive.
Walking into The Original Pancake House is like stepping into breakfast heaven—the aroma of sizzling sausage, fresh coffee, and warm maple syrup fills the air and immediately sets the tone for a great meal. The service was fantastic: attentive without being overbearing, and the food arrived at just the right time—not too fast to feel rushed, but not so slow that you start eyeing other tables hungrily.
