The small plates carried bold smoky flavors—standout was the beef shoulder cooked over live fire. A few dishes leaned slightly heavy, but the creativity showed through. The open, industrial-style space kept the night lively and engaging.

We have always liked Ovenbird with the option of sitting outside to avoid noise and having a great conversation. Last night the weather was perfect for outdoors dining. \nPositive: we loved the scallops cooked to perfection, the burrata with tomato marmalade which was a nice and original combination, the tomato salad and Spanish tortilla were great as well.\nNegative: the snapper throat was disappointing.
